...Anyway! I really do think that when WWX and LWJ have a baby, their various family members just casually abduct the baby whenever they please.

WWX goes to pick the kid up from daycare, and the daycare provider is just like, "Umm...but his uncle picked him up four hours ago??"

WWX whips out his phone, and sure enough, there are Instagram pictures of JC and JYL at Disneyland. A-Yuan and A-Ling are both wearing Mickey ears. The picture was posted twenty minutes ago.

Or, LXC comes over for a visit while A-Yuan is napping. He excuses himself to use the restroom.

Ten minutes later, LWJ gets confused and goes looking for his brother. Both A-Yuan and his brother have vanished!

LWJ, texting furiously: You said you were using the bathroom.

LXC: Ah, Wangji, I did! But as I was leaving the bathroom, A-Yuan called out and said he wanted to go for a walk around the neighborhood with me and A-Jue. So we're feeding ducks at the park. 🤗

LWJ: ...He called out and said that.

LXC: Yes. 🥰

LWJ: Brother. He is five months old. He cannot talk.

LXC: Nonsense. He is very advanced for his age! Maybe he simply doesn't say things to YOU. 😇

LWJ and WWX turn their back for ONE SECOND at a family picnic, and LQR is already halfway down the street with the baby. He wants to show off his grand-nephew to his mahjong friends, okay?!

The Jiang and Lan families, thirty seconds after meeting wangxian's new baby:

Wangxian would be annoyed, but they can't bring themselves to object.

Their most beloved family members just want to smother the baby with affection, and various aunts/uncles have nearly come to blows over whose turn it is to hold A-Yuan. They can't really be mad about that!
