A young girl posted something against the current govt (during #CAA protests). Though she didn't have many followers, it went viral. But, her father, an influential person, tried a truly
innovative and hitherto unheard narrative by claiming "it's not true" (def NOT under any political pressure)

Multiple users backed up the claim that it actually came from her profile, with screenshots as proof. Her post was deleted (maybe
because her phone fell off a cliff?) and the influential father managed to brush aside the issue.

A courageous girl was silenced by perhaps the first person she grew fond of - her father.

The girl was Sana #Ganguly.
A person who played national level cricket at 18, got selected for international matches before turning 20 casually saying that his 18 yr old daughter (who grew up in this age of SM) is too young to understand anything in politics.

After today's press conference, it's pretty clear why #Kerala govt raised objections regarding Shramik trains from Mumbai. (Thane-Ernakulam train on 24 May was cancelled)

But the ones who actually created this issue are the Malayali organizations in #Mumbai
These people were collecting names via Google form. The issue is, the messages did not have Jagratha portal link. No mention of compulsory e-pass. And these messages were forwarded even on the day of journey.
So, many passengers reached railway station without registering on the website. They thought that filling the Google form is enough. (This happened even on May 22, when the first Mumbai-Kerala train left LTT.)

Here's a message I received on 24 May.

One important aspect the 'national' media is not covering about #Kerala is how the govt's empathetic approach helped in preventing stigma and ensured proper reporting of cases.

I still remember how Malayalis were cursing the Ranni family when it was revealed that they were positive and skipped screening. When a detailed route map was made, there were even talks of socially boycotting the family. Social media was filled with similar posts.

In any other state, the govt would've made them a scapegoat. And such targeting would've caused many symptomatic patients to stay away from testing. The fear and stigma is the root cause of various incidents of violence reported in other states.
