The right claims lots of voter fraud but actual examples are almost nonexistent,
The left insist that Photo ID disenfranchises voters, but media never interview actual examples: adult American citizens (by definition) without Photo ID.

High-powered Harvard professor claims 700,000 voters in Texas lack Photo ID, but hasn’t personally met a single one.
Seriously and confirmed.
Easy explanation for people moving between states.

@RayTLee3@walterolson Many Americans think Motor Vehicles and the Elections Office link drivers license and voting records.
Not true.
Motor Vehicles sends information to the Elections Office but it’s one-way, no follow-up.
Person moves out of state, gets new DL and registers to vote there.
3/
@RayTLee3@walterolson Motor Vehicles cancels drivers license from old state when issuing new drivers license to new resident.
Elections Office in new state registers new voter, doesn’t necessarily inform elections office in prior state of residence, really doesn’t care, no incentive to do so.
4/
@RayTLee3@walterolson Meanwhile, old state drivers license expiration date eventually passes.
However, Elections Office in old state doesn’t necessarily know that anything has changed, so voter registration is still active.
Mis-match re documentation of former resident now in new state.
5/
@RayTLee3@walterolson@Harvard professor doing data science studies concludes that this is an active voter without valid Photo ID.
Did anyone check to see if the person is still around?
Doubtful.
If age 70+, IDs should be free so people keep them up to date.

Decades ago, Soviet Communism knew that they could not directly confront the United States and the West, and win, so they decided on an indirect approach.
They needed to make our national security professionals ineffective.
1/
@consulardude@LuisMorenolg@CDCgov So, they decided to infiltrate communist operatives into the US Government, not as spies to pass information, but in the support functions:
Personnel
Travel
Financial Management
Computers
Inspector General
Security
etc.
to totally constipate the support functions.
2/
@consulardude@LuisMorenolg@CDCgov This would force national security professionals to use more of their precious time - each of us only has 168 hours each week - to engage re internal support functions, and less re confronting our adversaries.
Recruit to develop a similarly unhelpful organizational culture.

Especially in a non-competitive, closed primary state, unless you have personal political ambitions, register in the dominant party in your region or state.
