BL/Franconia 404 is disabled at/outside Metro Center due to a brake pressure issue. It's possible the train may have hit an object on the roadway (purported to be a shopping cart) which could be the source of the issue.
#WMATA
Minor correx: the incident train is BL/Franconia 401, not BL/Franconia 404.

#WMATA
Orange/Silver/Blue line trains continue single-tracking between Smithsonian & McPherson Square due to a disabled train outside Metro Center.
#WMATA
#WMATA has moved the earlier-disabled Blue Line train from Metro Center; it's on its way back towards New Carrollton. ERT personnel need to inspect the tracks before normal service can resume.

A southbound Yellow Line train is disabled south of L'Enfant with a brake problem. #wmata
A #wmata rail supervisor is onboard, YL/Huntington train 301 (disabled south of L'Enfant). A railcar mechanic had been dispatched to meet the train at Pentagon, but it obviously isn't there yet.
Yellow Line update:

Disabled YL/Huntington train 301/701 is going to be coupled up to non-revenue train 820 from behind and either pulled back to L'Enfant or pushed to Pentagon so passengers can get off prior to the train being taken to a rail yard.

The operator of RD/Glenmont train 104 approaching White Flint reports they're being delayed due to a deer on the tracks.
#wmata
White Flint switcheroo:

The train @ White Flint on the Glenmont-bound track will be heading back to Twinbrook; the train @ White Flint on the Twinbrook track will be heading to Glenmont via downtown.

#wmata #DeerProblems
White Flint visual:

Train 106 to Glenmont via downtown was blocked by a deer.

The #wmata ROCC swapped passengers, operators, and destinations of trains 104 and 106, both at White Flint.

106 heading inbound is now heading outbound; 104 heading outbound is now heading inbound.
