“Once I was having a discussion with a neo-hanbali on the issue of Hulul Al Hawadith.

The neo-Hanbali was discussing using Kalam, such that he said:

‘Let’s say creator instead of Al-Ilah so that our discussion can be pure Kalam.’

So, since our discussion was pure Kalam,
I wanted to tackle the issue of Hulul Al Hawadith from a historical basis.

So, I mentioned the history of the prime mover argument and how it reflects back to all of the different Kalami groups.

I then asked the famous question:

‘If a person was a Kafir for most of his life
then died upon Iman, was Allah angry with him then became pleased with him?’

Since if he did, it means that a meaning from the meanings of ‘movement’ has occurred in the essence of Allah (from anger to being pleased with that slave) or do you deny this, based on the idea that
God cannot move?’

Instead of discussing this, the neo-hanbali jumps to the discussion of God’s actions subsisting in His essence and, suddenly, became a Hashawi:

‘Ibn Batta said; Ibn Qudama said; Ahmad said’

with quotes to try and show that God cannot be described with when
And the neo-Hanbali ended up saying that Allah was pleased with the slave that died upon Iman after Kufr since eternity past; meaning that God was pleased with him, even during the slave’s period of Kufr.
In brief, when Ibn Sina realised that time is the measure of movement and that ‘when’ is an adverbial noun of time, along with his statement that God is immutable, he concluded that God is transcendent from ‘when’
This means that asking about God with ‘when’ when it comes to His acts, affirms that God is described in Time.

And you only describe in time something that moves.
Now, which of us is in agreement with the Salaf and the Hanabilah.

Do they affirm time and not transcend Allah from speaking about His acts with ‘when’?

Let’s list them:

Ibn Sina said that you can’t describe God with when and so you can’t say ‘when He speaks, when He is pleased, when He descends’

The Ash’ariyyah agree with ibn Sina and they say that God does not act or that He acts from eternity past to avoid the ‘when’ dilemma
But, given the barrage of Hanbali quotes on this issue where they clearly affirm that God does acts when He wants, where can the neo-hanbali go?”

If anything, this just shows that Ghunayman did not understand Al Tabari...

Here is a refutation:

vb.tafsir.net/forum/%D8%A7%D…

I will break it down below:
1- Al Tabari clearly believes that the meaning of Al Istiwa is something that is known.

What is this meaning?

And this is the meaning given by the Tabi'i Al Rubai' b. Anas.

An argument they make to deny the attribution of Al Naqdh to Uthman b. Sa'eed Al Darimi is that Ibn Al Subki, an Ash'ari, greatly praised Uthman.

And so this book can't have belonged to Uthman, or it did belong to him but was tampered with.
Response:

It is well known that Al Darimi and his works was an extremely influential early figure & source for Ibn Taymiyyah and Ibn Qayyim

Ibn Qayyim in Ijtima' al Juyush p.231:

The Prophet said:

Reported by Muslim

Claim: This supports the idea that Allah is not above nor is he below.
Response:

As for the general idea that this Hadith supports that Allah is not below anything, this is true as the Prophet said

As for the idea that this Hadith supports that Allah is not above anything, this is false.
Because the Prophet did not say (You are not above anything)

Instead, he said انت الْبَاطِن فَلَيْسَ دُونك شئ (You are the Inward one, there is nothing without you) which is different from لست فَوق شئ

Satisfy your husband’s desires:
I tell you one thing O Sisters. You need to follow the Prophet ﷺ.

Let’s not just pay lip service to it. It’s not just about lip service my beloved sisters.

Dress up. Stay at home. Take pride in your hair. Take pride in your clothing & what you look like, what you smell like.
Your husband comes home and He should look at you and feeeel attracted to you.

Come on! The wives of the Prophet ﷺ were intimate with him and they fulfilled his rights.

How many of you, a month passes, and you haven’t been intimate with our Halal husband. He’s busy waiting!

This speech is not sound for a number of reasons as highlighted here (you can skip to around the 16 minute mark)

t.me/doros_alkulify…

I’ll sum it up in this thread:
When Iraq is mentioned, what’s intended are two major hubs:

Kufah & Basrah

When Hijaz is mentioned, what’s intended are two major hubs:

Makkah & Madinah
To say that Iraq did not have access to as many Hadith as Hijaz is egregious.

1. There are 6 individuals who are considered ‘centres of Hadith transmissions’ as mentioned by the great Ali b. Al Madini.

They are:
