medium.com/carre4/on-deco… #Decoloniality- a relatively new western movement used to drive BLM politics, support Khalistani infiltration of Punjab farmer protests, pseudo-dalit caste activism, fan #Hinduphobia and self-loathing by deleting adhyatma, yoga, dharma. #BreakingIndia 2.0.
western academia projects like #Decoloniality are rooted in materialism, focus on outer transformation.

Dharmic movements reject sacred v secular partition. Outer progress reflects inner transformation via embodied knowing.

first & foremost, Bharat is an #adhyatmic civilization
trans from a good talk in Hindi on Tantra in the India Inspires YT channel.
so if one goes looking inside western academia's offerings, one will find intellectual solutions ultimately rooted in materialism.
Indic activists went thru this trauma once with Marxism. Some were able to 'Ghar-wapsi' to dharma thanks to Sri #Aurobindo docsubra.blogspot.com/2013/12/how-su…
quick and rough transcription of @narendramodi ji's 2013 speech on decolonizing India using adhyatmic traditions.
Another Modi speech (2014, Varanasi?) emphasized inner & outer progress. Even last week's IIT-K convocation speech has echoes.

Sans any understanding of this common adhyatmic basis of Bharata (an #IntegralUnity), westernized H intellectuals will end up wrongly concluding that different parts of Bharata united out of material self-interest, i.e., India is a synthetic unity.
Any such reckless and patently false thesis that Bharata is a synthetic union with its different identities uniting out of material self-interest, plays right into the hands of #BreakingIndia orgs and western acads.
wikipedia says #decoloniality is "Latin American". A quick look shows its theorists are rooted in western categories, trained in EU, apply their western theory to deconstruct countries. They finally end up in the humanities departments of US universities, 100% colonized!
Latin America is a mere prop. Wiki:

"The #decolonial movement include diverse forms of #CriticalTheory, articulated by pluriversal forms of liberatory thinking that arise out of distinct situations."

JNU profs whose job is to dub such foreign movies in India can explain.
rajivmalhotra.com/library/articl… The asymmetric dialog of Civilizations is important to understand why 'third world' scholars of "social sciences" from Latin America, India, or Africa seeming critiquing the west almost surely end up as just another brick in the western academia wall.
'To have a genuine dialog of civilizations, the ‘other’ side *must be present as itself* and not via proxy, must be able to use its own framework to represent itself".

This is precisely what #dharampal emphasized.

Importing non-Indic categories like #decoloniality = fail.
Representing Bharata using categories firmly in western academia (WA) control rather than a dharmic framework is naturally beneficial to scholars of Indian origin who are firmly embedded in WA. WA gains from this *internal* tussle, Dharma is reduced to a server at WA table.
Bharata − own framework + import #Decoloniality = #Recoloniality of India
The prescient #dharampal points out the twin folly of Hindu activists using repackaged foreign categories like #Decoloniality to deconstruct colonialism in India. This is simply #Recoloniality.
#Decoloniality looks, swims, walks, quacks like a
Marxism 2.0 duck.

"Decolonial approaches, methods, and movements seek to disrupt colonial and settler-colonial logic and the seeming "naturalness" of racial capitalism" wm.edu/sites/dhp/deco…
If #Decoloniality actually decolonizes, then RoP is truly a religion of peace, and RoL is really a religion of love :)
what does #Decoloniality seek?
"in particular, to examine the relationship between the #FrankfurtSchool version of critical theory and the emerging paradigm of coloniality / modernity"
globalsocialtheory.org/topics/decolon…

another #TrojanHorse enters Hindu discourse via Sheldon Pollock's HQ
#TBFS on Sheldon Pollock:
"to understand Pollock’s thesis on how kavya is linked to political power and was an instrument in the hands of Hindu kings, it is important to appreciate the theory of the aestheticization of power, because Pollock’s work uses it extensively."+
#TBFS "This theory was first formulated by Walter Benjamin, a prominent Western Marxist..

Benjamin was associated with the Marxist group that later became known as the Frankfurt School." +
#TBFS these Marxists "set the agenda for postmodern philosophy in the academia and continues to be influential." - Rajiv Malhotra.

#Decoloniality is not some natural Quinoa from Peru but yet another #Marxist construct ready to be "contextualized" to deconstruct Bharata.
#Decoloniality basically updates Marxist software by "decolonizing" and thereby enhancing the curb appeal of popular Marxist theories. This repackaging is attractive to gullible non-western scholars in Western Academia.
#WesternAcademia is a MNC that operates efficient theory factories using even child labor.

WA turns #Decoloniality into a mass-template to color-wash practically any Leftist theory. The product is exported to univs into countries like India via Indian scholars embedded in WA.
tandfonline.com/doi/full/10.10… Walter Mignolo (Prof. literature, Duke Univ, US), key inventor of #Decoloniality theory in 'Coloniality of power and de-colonial thinking':
"This volume is intended to be a contribution to de-colonial thinking as a particular kind of #CriticalTheory."+
"I am assuming that critical theory in the #Marxist genealogy of thought, as articulated by Max Horkheimer .." - Walter Mignolo

Max Horkheimer = leader of Frankfurt School, a most influential Leftist cabal. Read #TBFS to know their harmful impact on Sanskrit thru Pollock.
dead giveaway of such #Decoloniality folks is zero 'skin in the game'
- all air-guitarists (sociology, philosophy, literature, etc.)
- attack eurocentrism then join with Euro humanities
- attack "racial capitalism" then accept comfy posts in top US univ humanities ivory towers.
#Decoloniality and "decolonial" thinking as a particular kind of critical theory will have a negative impact on India and Indic thought (to say the least). It strengthens American academia's mental colonization of India.
Non-western origin scholars in Western Academia who try to "decolonize" WA by using a western lens-based theories like #decoloniality fail to realize that it will go nowhere except to more #recoloniality.

There's a simple physics analogy.
Students of physics learn how one cannot move a broke-down bus (center-of-mass) from inside.

Only a strong external force by *reversing the gaze using a #dharmic #Drishti/lens* can decolonize Western Academia.

But WA scholars prefer to stay in the bus and imagine it moving :) Image
once Indian scholars reject #Sanskrit non-translatables and dharmic framework and bank on foreign #Decoloniality theories, they naturally end up with fallacies about the nature of India's unity.
Since ages, children and common people through mutual interactions and traditional learning *realized* the integral nature of India's civilizational unity that many of today's text-parsing, canned-exam cracking, degree-accumulating talking-heads fail to grasp. Image
Since #Kannada is in the news, this profound song is/was sung by kids reminding us of the inherent, *indivisible* oneness of Bharata via its #Bhavaikya and its integral unity in diversity. Not different groups driven by self-interests to synthesize a union.
Many Indians assume that #Decoloniality is just another 'regular' English word brought into circulation as a positive expression for decolonizing.

Not so.

It is a word marketed and controlled by leftists and comes with specific meaning and implications (see thread).
Hindu scholars in western academia who reject the dharmic lens, take a shortcut via foreign jargon like #decoloniality. They gain prominence as "overseas spokespersons" who will negotiate on behalf of Hindus using LW/RW jargon.
#Dharma is reduced to a waiter at their table.
Genuine decolonizing of Bharata must start from the inside out- the exact opposite of #Decoloniality

pattern1: rop strategy of mingling among civilians- shaheen bagh, TJ, Kashmir has been effective.

gov response has been ineffective. India's finest cannot become cannon fodder.

Pak nuke = threat of explosion (busted by Modi)
Ind Jihad = threat of implosion must be busted too.
Family member of at least one cabinet minister@ central gov (preferably defense minister) must be serving in Kashmir where jihadi menace is max. Then better strategies to neutralize Jihadis with minimum casualties will emerge faster.
Gov must be held accountable. Yes, they're 100 times better than Congress, but this is barely enough to bring the country back on track. They need to get 1000 times better if India has to move forward. Barring Modi & a few, BJP gov's intellectual bankruptcy is appalling.
