22 life lessons to learn in 2022

| thread
Before we dive into these life-changing 22 lessons, hit that retweet 🔁 on the top tweet to help others.

Done? Okay, so now let's GO ⚡️👇
⚡️Remember that if you learn to delay all non life-threatening reactions by at least 30 seconds, you’ll end up with much better end results.

⚡️All your actions will have consequences, it's just that sometimes they are untimed. No escape.
⚡️The best routine you can follow is to follow the Sun.

⚡️Don’t hate me for this but lukewarm water is best for your health.

⚡️Stay connected with nature physically, as often as you can. Like taking a dip in a river, walking barefoot on the soil etc.
⚡️Stay away from porn. It's poison for your mind.

⚡️If nothing else, telling the truth gets you a good sleep. “Clear conscience is a good pillow”.

⚡️Keeping a pet makes you compassionate.
⚡️Mental movies are not real, they are just the projections of your past experiences.

Next time when you find yourself staring into nowhere, you’re most like watching one - shake your head to come out of it.
⚡️Pray even if you’re an atheist. By praying, it could just mean you express your gratitude for your being alive. It could be anything.

⚡️What you gift others shows more about you than about them. Choose what you give others, wisely.

⚡️Realize that arrogance is always costly!
⚡️Thinking for yourself is the ultimate self-care.

⚡️Courage and patience will let you win almost all adverse situations in your life.

⚡️Nothing happens by accident.
⚡️Create your life’s mantra - a one line statement which covers what exactly you want to do or want to be.

Be very precise.

Write it down where you can see it everyday. Put little effort everyday and visualize you getting there. It will eventually come out to be true.
⚡️Feed as many people as you can in your lifetime. No cap.

⚡️If your health permits, try fasting regularly. Start with 24 hours.

⚡️Stop expecting anything from anyone and be happy forever. May sound impractical but even if you can lower your expectations, it does wonders.
⚡️Never joke by belittling someone.

⚡️Eat for your health, not only for your tongue.
⚡️Always respect those who have helped you grow. They deserve all of it. Very few people are able to do it for you.

How to stop thinking what other people think? 🧵👇
“I don’t care what you think about me. I don’t think about you at all.” ~Coco Chanel

Many times "what will others think" becomes crippling for a lot of us. Good news? We can outgrow it!

Before we go further, if you want to help others too, please RT the first tweet

Let’s go 👇
Realize that the main character in other people’s lives can never be you.

Whether you like it or not, you’re a background extra in other people’s lives, just like they are in yours.

So, don't think everyone is bothered about you, they have their own things to be bothered about.

If you’re dealing with a heart break, read this 🧵
A wise soul once said

“I am strong, because I’ve been weak. I am fearless, because I’ve been afraid. I am wise, because I’ve been foolish.”

We all get through that patch in life where we feel low and heart broken.

But we are to rise right? Let's look at ways to do so 👇
✨Is it really a broken “heart”?

What if it is broken “expectations”?

Wanting something from someone, and then when that doesn’t happen - you are like “I am f*cked!”

Get some air, label it right - it’s just a broken expectation. And expectations can be unfair.

Get going!

The overlooked chemistry between your devices, your sleep and your circadian cycle...🧵
Can't really get enough of this quote by William Penn

"True silence is the rest of the mind, and is to the spirit what sleep is to the body, nourishment and refreshment."

So, what's really linking our devices, our sleep and circadian cycle?

Let's find out... 👇
01 - Importance of light

The history as we know it,

we can be fairly sure that our ancestors relied mainly on the Sun’s light to plan their day. Of course we are talking about the pre-electricity era.

Sounds logical right?
