Seriously, I bet @WSJopinion thought it had a coup getting a Nobel Laureate to coauthor an op-ed with Jeb Rubenfeld opposing vaccine mandates, supposedly based on "science." Little did they know just what an utter crank and fraud Montagnier's become in his old age. 9/
Unfortunately, being a Nobel laureate will impress the rubes, who will take Montagnier's blather seriously, even though he long ago gave up any semblance of being a scientists worthy of the respect generally given a Nobel Prize winner. 10/
That's one big danger of the Nobel Disease; Nobel laureates who've turned into cranks and conspiracy theorists are still Nobel laureates and that alone makes them seem impressive long after they no longer are. 11/11
