Your only job when you start a biz is to get social proof.

Nothing else.

It’s a requirement.

I’ll assume you have no network, no followers, and minimal capital of any kind

You will obviously be using cold email because it’s cheap.

You need an offer with 2 things:

1. Quantifiable promised result

2. Guarantee you’ll get those results

“I’ll get you 10 appointments or you pay nothing”

“I’ll get you a 3x return on ad spend or you pay nothing”

“The ad creatives I make you will perform at 3x ROAS or you pay nothing”

Most of the time if you don’t perform but maintain good communication with the client they won’t even want a refund.

This entails explaining if something isn’t working, and telling them your plans to fix it

Utter honesty and transparency

Gotta stay away from people making less then $20k/mo as clients they are poor

They’re financially insecure with investments. Easy to sense over the phone whether they’re competent or not

The “yeah I tried this before but couldn’t get it going, I need an expert” type is perfect

You need to either

1. Work on performance basis

2. Have a 100% money back guarantee

You must remove all risk for them since you have no social proof

You need to make it ABUNDANTLY clear to them they are your first client and you’re trying to get social proof.

You’re not lying about this. Say it.

Things you’ll document:

> Quite literally every action you take on running their campaign

> Loom videos explaining what you’re doing

> Loom videos explaining what works and what doesn’t work from execution

> At the end, if it works, recorded zoom interview with client

The zoom interview’s function is to ask how much money they made.

It needs to go into detail about the exact quantification of the return in investment they had.

That’s it, nothing else

This is not hard.

What IS hard is having the consistency to send cold emails every single day for 3 weeks with no bites.

Most people on earth can’t commit to something, so when you do, that’s where all the money is.

“Make $10k/mo in 1 month” is very unrealistic for somebody who has not done business before.

Probably 3-4 depending on how much you work.

It’s not so much needing raw hours, but more so putting in consistent effort to become competent.
