Another tool that will help you escape Google Sheets.

Hubspot has the best free CRM options I’ve seen, and makes tracking calls and emails extremely easy.

A lot of teams are still out there using group messages. 🤦‍♂️

Take advantage of Slack’s ability to create channels specific to projects.

Loom makes it easy to record presentations and send them to your team.

This is a better option than email and more convenient that scheduling another meeting.

8) Google Docs

Keep track of your team’s action plans, create presentations, send out surveys, all of that.

9) Survey Monkey

Providing your team and peers with an opportunity to provide anonymous feedback is essential.

At a minimum, ask them what you should keep doing, stop doing, and start doing.
10) Canva

Make creating a presentation easy on yourself. Canva has a ton of templates you can use to tell your organization’s story.

Use this 4 step process to avoid DeFi conversations this holiday season:
1. Express Empathy

It is crucial to start here. Even though you aren't interested in the conversation, start by acknowledging their passion for the subject.

“Oh wow. I can tell you’ve invested a ton of time in this subject. I admire that commitment.”
2. Redirect With a Question

Once you've shown them you are on their side. You are in a prime position to change the focus of the conversation with a question.

As a leader, I struggled with execution for years until I found this simple framework:
Step 1: Clear Communication

Before you get started, take time to plan out this entire framework.

You need your team to understand the expectations from start to finish.

Layout what the expectations are at every level and how you will measure success.
Step 2: Clarify Expectations

Don't assume people understand the expectations. Ask them their plan so they can be sure everyone is on the same page.

Be sure your processes are documented, and your managers can demonstrate the expectations.
