Major @NIH study finds COVID can quickly disseminate & infect multiple organs, including brain, & remain for months (likely, we will learn, years). Even in mild/ asymptomatic cases.
Covid, like #Lyme, is one of many chronic infections that can cause multi-systemic illnesses, “autoimmune,” cardiac, neurologic, psychiatric, & vascular diseases. Also increases risk of sudden death months after infection.
This is a mass-disabling event that has no rival.
Covid directly kills heart muscle cells.
It is lingering in brain tissue causing severe neurologic and psychiatric and dementia-like illness. Even in young, previously healthy people.
This study “provides warning abt being blasé abt mass infection in children & adults.”
The premise of our book CHRONIC is how persistent infections cause chronic illness, incl covid. This is not new, yet largely unknown. @StevePhillipsMD
I hope this gives greater context as to why WE CAN NOT LIVE WITH this virus, & why v early treatments & prophylaxis are critical.
Vaccines do not always prevent #LongCovid. Without antivirals/ mabs to mitigate #LongCovid, we are looking at stunning #s of broken lives.
If you are not strongly advocating for early treatment/ prophylaxis and have been led to believe they’re only for the “high-risk,” you are painfully wrong.
Everyone who contracts this virus shld be given a chance to clear it.
The stakes are too high to gamble w your organs.

Guys, I have a lot to say about toxic mold making people sick in homes and offices. Here are some key facts most people get wrong:
1. “Mold is everywhere! It’s not a big deal beyond allergies.” 🚩
This dogma is only half-true.
Mold spores *are* everywhere outdoors and can cause typical allergy/asthma symptoms (stuffy nose, cough, shortness of breath).
BUT toxic indoor molds that grow hidden in water-damaged buildings are different. They produce airborne microscopic toxic byproducts called “mycotoxins” that you inhale. These serious toxins are linked to far more than “a little allergy.”
These are NOT the same as outdoor hay-fever molds referred to above. There is a lot of intentional misinfo about toxic mold bc it is prevalent, causes severe multisystemic illness & is expensive to fix/ remediate. Insurance companies lobbied hard to limit public awareness of toxic mold after getting nailed by several huge multimillion dollar cases in the 90’s.
Toxic molds (like Stachybotrys “black mold,” Chaetomium, Aspergillus, Fusarium, and others) thrive indoors in dark, damp spots behind walls, under floors, or in leaky areas. They hate sunlight and don’t typically cause seasonal outdoor issues.
What do you think “sick building syndrome” is? 💡 (Hint: often, toxic mold illness)
Mycotoxins from these species can cause severe fatigue, confusion, brain fog, anxiety, severe depression (including anhedonia), dementia, Parkinson’s/tremors, broad range of other neurological issues, PANS in kids, tics, multiple organ damage, hormone disruption/ estrogenic cancers, even death.
Certain mycotoxins, as mentioned above, are estrogenic (like zearalenone from Fusarium). A few trichothecene mycotoxins have even been studied in biowarfare.
Everything mainstream says about “mold” downplays this real, prevalent (and expensive) indoor problem.
If you or your kids have persistent respiratory issues, look for hidden mold.
2. Air samples notoriously miss toxic molds. Many spores are sticky/heavy and don’t float freely, especially when colonies bloom hidden behind walls or in dark, damp voids.
Landlords love air tests for this reason. Visual inspection + moisture assessment + ERMI or other DNA-based testing are far more reliable. You will have to sometimes cut keyholes into walls and testing. That is reality of getting to the bottom of these problems. It is great to engage an industrial hygienist if you conduct your own ERMI (I rec this) and find toxic molds.
3. Fix leaks immediately. Toxic mold can begin growing in 24-48 hours on wet cellulose materials like drywall, paper, wood, etc. Not all mold smells. It happens in brand-new buildings too.
Green buildings can be risky: spray foam or rigid foam insulation can hide leaks and moisture issues, trapping problems out of sight. I’d personally avoid them without extra vigilance.
🚨 DIRTY SECRET OF MEDICINE: Infections (viral/bacterial/fungal/parasitic) have been a known driver of psych, neuro, & autoimmune diseases (including MS, Alz, RA, fibro!) for many decades! This was the premise of our science-backed book, CHRONIC. This fact (& even our book) has been deeply suppressed due to cures w cheap antimicrobials not being profitable. 🧵
‼️From my HuffPo interview w @StevePhillipsMD, my coauthor & brilliant doc who saved my life, which is a MUST-READ‼️
@StevePhillipsMD 🚩 POTS WAS NOT UNCOMMON BEFORE COVID. What’s activating in the face of COVID and COVID vaccine? OTHER INFECTIONS like Lyme, Bartonella, EBV etc. Can COVID directly cause POTS? I’m sure. But would dig deep to find out by broadly testing for stealth infections.
Once again, @nytimes pumps out an article on an important topic riddled with disinformation, bad advice & ulterior motives.🧵
UM, WHAT? No, it’s not.
In the words of former CDC Director, Robert Redfield, “it’s never *just* Lyme. It’s often 2-3 pathogens transmitted at once,” & some require different treatment than Lyme, like Babesia, which is COMMON.
Why is NYT downplaying other diseases, you ask?
The Ulterior Motive 💉
Let me spell this out. If you downplay the other, worse diseases spread by ticks that a Lyme vaccine will not prevent, people will want the Lyme vaccine (in spite of the disastrous history of the last one, which media & PH misinform the public about).
