Microsoft says it observed destructive malware in systems belonging to several #Ukraine govt agencies reuters.com/world/europe/m…
This is far bigger than we thought and the attack now looks more like a preparation for a massive attack:
"Microsoft said on Sunday it continued to analyse the malware and warned it could render government digital infrastructure inoperable."
“The malware, which is designed to look like ransomware but lacking a ransom recovery mechanism, is intended to be destructive and designed to render targeted devices inoperable rather than to obtain a ransom”
On infected systems, a "fake" ransomware was found. While the message of the malware says you can restore your hard drive with paying a ransom, it actually destroys your system, making it inaccessible. This activity is ofc inconsistent with cybercriminal ransomware activity.

From the comments (checked myself):
"where are you going?"
"to Belarus"
(can't find them anymore, maybe deleted):
"I saw this train today "
"maybe not this one, troops are being pulled together all over Russia, everyone goes to Valuyki"
Same account posted this, so likely from inside the train:
Correction: This video was uploaded in July 2020, still interesting, maybe someone can get the unit.
