(1/14) Hey #StarshipAddicts , @CSI_Starbase has concluded that #B4 is NEVER going to leave the ground under its own power & #B5 is just a massive lawn ornament.

#StarshipSuperHeavy #B7 is up next, lets look at some of the difference we have noticed so far!

📷:@RGVaerialphotos
(2/14) Fwd Dome Section:

On the FWD dome we see a new design for the stage separation clamps. These may have not been completed yet on #B7 but the initial shape of them is a departure from the previous boosters.

📷:@StarshipGazer | @CosmicalChief
(3/14) Fwd Dome (cont):

Autogenous pressurization lines have been moved higher up towards the top of the #CH4 tank dome instead of below the stringers like the #Block1 #SSH's (Sorry not sorry for making new acronyms)

Anyone else wish this was related to Hot Gas Thrusters?
(4/14) Fwd Dome (cont):

There is now a camera above the load points to allow #SpaceX to visually confirm proper alignment of load/catching points on the #Chopsticks before lifting.

@elonmusk lets include this on the list of views for the #SpaceX streams!?

(5/14) Fwd Dome (cont):

New method for hiding/protecting electrical wiring is on #B7 thanks to @CosmicalChief . These used to run between the stringer, now they run THROUGH them. This reduces the amount of extra protective covers that need to be installed. Mass reduction!
(6/14) Common Dome:

Noticeably Longer stringers now go over the common dome weld. You can see that the ullage gas vent location of the #LOX tank is now directly below the stringers. This may be added later but access hatch for #CH4 tank also appears to have been relocated
(7/14) Common Dome (cont):

#FlightTerminationSystem mounting location appears to have received a pretty significant facelift as well. It will be interesting to see how this turns out. Also note how much smaller the raceway for all the wiring is!
(8/14) Common Dome (cont):

Apparently we weren't venting the #LOX tank fast enough on the #SSH Block 1's there are now 3 vent ports at the top of the #LOX tank instead of 2. This is going to look awesome during the #detank process!
(9/14) Thrust Section:

External stringers have been stretched all the way to the bottom of the thrust section. Removing these from the inside of the tank should help increase the amount of available space inside the thrust section for installing equipment
(10/14) Thrust Section (cont):

#B4, #B5 and #B6 had 20 #LOX ports on the outer #RaptorBoost mounting locations.

#StarshipSuperHeavy #Block2 now has 20 #CH4 located on this surface as well. The thrust puck now has an increased diameter to make room for 4 additional #Raptors
(11/14) Thrust Section (cont):

As mentioned recently by @MarcusHouse (will link in the comments) the thrust section is now assembled using (4x) ~4.6ft rings instead of (3x) ~6ft rings. Here are a few of the smaller SS rolls hanging out with the standard ones.

(12/14) If you have been following @CSI_Starbase for a while then you would know we tend to focus on a lot of the infrastructure related topics at #Starbase. Luckily, #StarshipAddicts like @rocketjunkie94 are able to help fill in some of the gaps for these investigations!
(13/14) If you like this kind of content make sure you check out the @RGVaerialphotos video where @Grandpajoe42 @CSI_Starbase @indnstar review the surveillance imagery from the latest #Starbase Flyover!

(14/14) Due to some technical difficulties, we had to break this into two streams! Here is Part 2.

(1) Hey #StarshipAddicts...I have a feeling that a lot of you have heard various things here and there about possible issues with the #OrbitalTankFarm at the #Starbase launch complex. Check out this thread if you want the FULL story starting from the very first signs of trouble
(2) This is a break from my normal style, I'm going to tell you all a story.

At the end of May 2021, I took my first ever trip to Starbase as a treat to myself after quitting my job as an Engineer in the Oil & Gas industry.
(3) The moment my last shift came to and end, I got in my car and drove 10 hours straight with the intension of not stopping until I got to the #Starbase sign. I drove through a massive 4 hour rain storm that ended, right as the #Highbay came into view.

1. I'm thankful @SpaceX chose #BocaChica for the #Starship program. I'm thankful @LabPadre was allowed to set up cameras and livestream history in the making. A lot of us should be thankful we found those livestreams when the #StayAtHome orders started.
2. I think there are a lot of people out there who agree with this. I also think that a good portion of those people may have not made it through #COVID without #Spacex and #Labpadre. Whether #Starship makes it to Mars or not...its already saved a large number of human lives.
3. I feel blessed to be one of those people so thank you to everyone who is working hard to bring all this content into our lives. @SpaceX @LabPadre @BocachicaMaria1 @RGVaerialphotos @StarshipGazer @MarcusHouse @considercosmos @FelixSchlang @NASASpaceflight @BocaChicaGal

Finally! Ive been waiting for this thing to show up for 2 months. Searched high and low in @RGVaerialphotos photos 8 weeks straight hoping I would see signs of it before anyone else.

If you are confused at what this is or want to learn more about it check out the thread below
Before we start:

I had a feeling this would happen. It sucks to have to skip ahead in the Orbital Launch Mount series cuz its going to be impossible to keep the whole thing in one thread now. Might have to come up with a better way of organizing this stuff.

One more thing! Image
Should I post this entire explanation at one time? Or would yal rather see them as I finish each page?

I'll let yal decide while I grab some food. @RGVaerialphotos unexpected post forced me to skip lunch for this.

*FYI The first option will probably contain more errors*

@elonmusk No joke, I put in zero physical labor on but just being a spectator as @SpaceX workers fabricated this engineering marvel was exhausting!

Check out the thread below to see how the most advanced launch mount on the planet was constructed! @StarshipGazer The original image Elon was...
Before we start

#250wordcount sucks. Make sure u check the alt descriptions. This could easily turn into a 200 pager. I plan to do it in phases because there are even more interesting #Starship topics I want to cover. Make sure to follow if u want to see future updates on this
1. I waited 168 days for @SpaceX to finally move this launch table on 7/28/21. When it finally happened I almost called in from work so I could watch @LabPadre all day. Luckily I work from home so that wasn't necessary.

PS...Sorry Brad, we can talk later 😅 Image

#Starship addicts! Ever wondered how @SpaceX plans to deliver more than 1000 LOADS of cryo fluids to the Orbital Tank Farm?

Well, offloading 17 tankers simultaneously might speed things up! Check out this thread to see how it all works & preview some major changes to come! The white lines at the "parking lanes" represent p
1. Shown in the @RGVaerialphotos photo from above, there are (3) LOX, (2) LN2 tanks, and (2) CH4 tanks that need to be filled. There are (~12) stations/ports to offload LOX & (5) for CH4.

*LN2 is able to be offloaded at any of these ports which I will explain next.
2. Pretty common to see up to 3 tankers offloading these days at the OTF, as shown by @StarshipGazer .

Once complete, 17 offloading ports means you can have 34 trucks in rotation. Assuming a 90 minute offload time, there is an 11 tanker per hour capacity for the OTF currently. 3 Lox tankers offloading at the Orbital tank farm. Will be i
