Fact check his statements, analyse his policies

#r4today spent time discussing the benefits to nightclubs on scrapping covid passes but doesn't think removing masks in schools is worth looking at?
They evaluate yesterday through lens of party political games and Johnsons career rather than impact on real lives
Should be asking "Has Johnson put internal party politics ahead of public health? Does appeasing the CRG take priority over protecting the vulnerable in society?"

Now an advert for Womans Hour where Rachel de Souza @ChildrensComm will be talking about her concerns for kids missing out of education

Will they ask why the MAT she led was one of the worst offenders for offrolling?
Will they ask @ChildrensComm why she teamed up with disinformation groups UsForThem?
Will they raise the fact the CRG MPs Johnson is appeasing have been working with the HART group which has been pumping out vile antivax disinformation through a network of interlinked groups?
BBC news reporting has been feeble in holding government to account,
But don't worry Nick Triggles back to argue there is no evidence for masks in schools and everything will be fine
Got to love the hypocrisy of the CRG, all that talk of patriotism, flags and the national anthem, yet they are stooges for opaque groups pushing the agendas of RW billionaires from the US

🧵To say let we just need to accept vulnerable deaths when we haven't bothered to invest in ventilation and filtration is just barbaric, we probably can't get to zero deaths but we can reduce deaths without inconvenience
2/ Though its not surprising, some of us have spent years campaigning to remove asbestos from schools, we know where it is, we just can't get policy makers to release the funding to remove it, instead we get "monitor it, we'll act once it breaks up"
3/ I have friends whove lost loved ones from aggressive cancers from asbestos in their schools
Mate Hank Roberts had to fight to reveal cover ups where ppl knew asbestos was breaking up but they just couldn't be bothered to admit to it and cough up the cash
