Depletion Of Ideas

We've talked about this many times. The debater out of ideas attacks a person. What's going on today, however, is the most depleted I've ever seen. Biden is going to war due to the "Shadow Of Trump."

2) I kid you not. The term in quotes comes from the New York Times daily newsletter I follow. Here's the twisted logic, forgive me if I can't make it make clean sense, because it's utterly nonsensical.

3) They say, Russia has 125,000 soldiers on the border with Ukraine because Trump was so nice to him, and so mean to NATO, and our European partners. They say that Trump attacked NATO, supported Putin, and put in place Russia's bold aggressive stance.

4) A problem they have no difficulty dismissing - but feel the need to address is that - in order to cozy up to Germany - Biden waived sanctions against the Russia/Germany pipeline that Trump put in place. No logical problem for them!

5) Trump's actions don't matter. It's only relationships that matter, and since Trump soured our relationship to Germany, and warmed our invested in our relationship to Russia, Biden had no choice but to waive Trump's sanctions. It's Trump's shadow, obviously.

6) I won't break your brain trying to lay out the ridiculous case any further. I will review a few facts. Trump built NATO up by demanding that its members pay their agreed to share. Something the left will never, ever grant, is that that builds the relationship.

7) I hope it's becoming obvious that this is nothing other than the Great Russia Hoax version 5.0. They accuse Trump of collusion with Russia in 2017 - the very year the sanctions against the pipeline that Biden just waived were emplace by Trump - and build on that lie, now.

8) It's tempting - at least to me - to grant them long term scheming recognition, as if they foresaw back in 2017 (hell, in 2016 was when they commenced the hoax) how their lies would benefit them in 2022. I laugh at myself quickly, and refute such a foolish thought easily.

9) No one has that kind of predictive capability. Certainly not them. Rather, they have a playbook. And, their playbook has come to the end of its run. They're just playing out the same play, over and endlessly over again. They are utterly depleted of ideas. Utterly.

10) A historical digression, please. I've always found it ironic that our I Like Ike President, great General of WWII, waits till the end of his 2nd term to give his famous Military/Industrial Complex speech. You mean he wasn't part of that Complex, himself? Come on.

11) It holds a certain bad-boy-coming-clean, but long-after-all-the-rewards-have-been-collected type of energy to my observation. And also, 'I redeem myself, finally, by letting the truth cat out of the bag.' I'm not a big fan, as you can tell. And 90% taxes? Wow.

12) I allow myself the digression because Eastern Europe's rising threat falls right into the old Military/Industrial Complex playbook as well. In fact, in 1948, Orwell described today's situation perfectly.

13) As you likely know, Orwell had three great global powers perpetually at war with each other, the only change being which two were allied against the other, and the alliance would change to the next 2-against-1 format.

14) The global reality during Trump's term was that both Russia and China had more to gain by cooperation against us than by prosecuting their own natural and perennial enmity. Stealing our election and emplacing China's pawn in the Oval Office changed that calculation.

15) Today, it seems obvious to me, that with their own stooge at the top here - as well as their true alliance with the Democrat Party's real leadership - it's profitable for China to have Biden turn his war powers towards Russia.

16) While historical, if recent, it is no digression to consider the Obama/Iran/China alliance from 2009 - 2016. Russia was deemed a small actor in those years. Obamacare and the Iran Deal were Obama's two big things.

17) What I've never seen commented upon is the connection between those two grand initiatives in that both were hugely beneficial to China. Let's explore that just a bit. How might Obamacare have been beneficial to China?

18) China's strategy, dating back to the Korean and Vietnam Wars, has been to avoid direct engagement against the US. These are called proxy wars. Were it not for China, there would be no North Korea today, and we would NOT have lost the Vietnam War. Make sense?

19) In both cases, the real reason we lost - and make no mistake, we lost the Korean War - was that we never declared war against our real enemy. Well, part of their reasoning is that they'd far rather defeat us without ever fighting us.

20) Not having fought us directly in either of those two encounters, look at the advance of Socialism in America in the wake of our Vietnam defeat. This too remains far too little commented upon. China has been winning their socio-cultural war against us since the 1960s.

21) Obamacare socialized 1/6th of our economy. Can you see that China was, in that very moment, reaping the rewards of its decade's long socio-cultural investments?

22) That China is in league with the Jihadi leadership of the Moslem world cannot be doubted. Giving Iran nuclear power would extend China's power against us. The Iran Deal was smiled upon by Beijing, I promise you. Iran is their proxy.

23) The number $1.5 billion is a simple link in the chain. We know that Joe is China's man. This too is beyond intelligent dispute. So as we see China Joe ramp up towards war with Russia, the only intelligent thing to do is look toward China's benefit. It's not that hard to do.

24) Let's wind down today's analysis with fundamentals. More and more, I find myself addictively reading the history behind our Declaration and Constitution. It's so much deeper than we've been taught.

25) Saint Paul tells us we fight against the powers of darkness in high places. That has always been the fight. And the powers of darkness know that those fighting for the light are also vulnerable to their own darkness, too.

26) What is our modern American darkness? We prefer entertainment to study. We prefer debate to decision. We prefer emotion to action. This is precisely how the theft of election 2020 occurred in plain sight.

27) So while the engines of war warm up, we will be once again lulled right back to sleep by the powers that be. You don't march on Moscow in the winter, and when isn't it winter there? Yet, we'll be sleepily induced into supporting that same march yet again.

28) The most fundamental fact is this. We have shown since 1776 that you cannot defeat an American who is truly awake. The only American you can defeat is one who is sound asleep.

29) I don't have an answer to offer about this rising war with Russia, while China Joe is in office. I do know that we must not sleepwalk our way through this evil administration's evil alliance with its Beijing masters.

30) And I do know that following who benefits from what is one way to stay awake even when droopy eyelids seem to take complete control over a fading soul's weary consciousness. My man Nietzsche tells us, sleep is overrated.
