Hoy hace 77 años las tropas soviéticas liberan #Auschwitz por emergencias de la vida tuve que volver a Buenos Aires y pasé por el Museo del Holocausto #WeRemember #HolocaustMemorialDay #HolocaustRemembranceDay

Seguí caminando hacia mi viejo departamento y en Córdoba y Pasteur doblé y visité de nuevo la #AMIA dónde el ataque terrorista del 18 de julio de 1994 dejó 85 muertos y 300 heridos

Fue el peor ataque terrorista en la Argentina y el mayor contra la comunidad judía luego del fin de la 2da guerra. Aún sigue sin resolver y los que planificaron y ayudaron a realizarlo siguen libres.

Trabajaba a pocas cuadras de allí y recuerdo la explosión y los vidrios de la oficina que se hundieron por la onda expansiva (no se rompieron), y recuerdo el "después" cuando muchos lo justificaron o minimizaron o pusieron en "contexto" elpais.com/internacional/…

#11Novembre #ArmisticeDay Today it is 103 years since the Signature of the #armistice however the state of war persisted until the signature of the Treaty of Versailles in June 28th 1919

In France it is remembered as #ArmisticeDay , in other allied countries it changed to #RemembranceDay and in the US was changed to #VeteransDay

The WWI was called initially optimistically The war to end all wars, today it is used more ironically as the WWII brought more devastation. It took me a lot to starting to get an idea of understanding the world before, during the 2 world wars, and after... ⤵️

Today is #DDay #Debarquement #Normandy 77 years after that June 6th 1944, the first step in the Liberation of France and then the push from the west front... 7 years ago we visited the region around #OmahaBeach , some impressions from that trip in my album flic.kr/s/aHsjZmqJt4

it also talks about the "epidemic of fear" that could occur even if no epidemic is running wild. They recall the story of Dr Susan Murray #SusieLMurray nejm.org/doi/full/10.10… about the fear of Ebola in 2014. That fear can kill also...
