With Ottawa residents reporting that they are too afraid to leave their homes, some of the convoy participants have dug their heels in, vowing to stay until their demands are met. We detail what occurred here.

The end of the weekend has seen many visitors who rolled into the nation's capital heading home. What remains outside of parliament & the surrounding streets, are a fleet of semis, commercial vehicles, RVs & the people who are digging in – with over $9M raised for the effort

With multiple instances of swastikas (many stylized to indicate opposition to vax mandates) & confederate flags being displayed on & nearby the Hill, one observer photographed a man throwing a Nazi salute in time to the honking.

The protest did see violence. Journalists and their crew reported being assaulted by having cans of beer hurled at them, or attacked by convoy participants as they tried to work. Others reported harassment.

Multiple reports of intimidation and altercations have surfaced, including rocks being thrown at ambulances, and racial slurs used.
