Crypto is eating the world.

Perhaps the most interesting trend right now:

NFT projects are becoming global brands.

For example, #BAYC is now a globally-recognized brand with a market cap of almost $3 billion.

What does this mean? Where are we headed?

Consider, everyone who owns a Bored Ape has commercial rights to that ape.

Meaning, they can produce their own clothing, TV shows, and more.

Creative Artist Agency (CAA), the largest talent agency in Hollywood, has a Bored Ape as a client.

That's insane.

This model has turned Bored Apes into a marketing machine.

Cryptopunks, by the way, don’t give commercial rights. They are instantiated into crypto art history, so they don't need it.

But I think it's the reason why BAYC flipped punks.

But here’s why this is interesting…

In less than five years, I wouldn’t be surprised if one of the biggest brands in the world is an NFT project.

My bet is it will start with a fashion brand.

And it will be defined by "edge ownership."

Imagine if you owned a piece of Nike directly, without intermediaries.

This will be a revolution in how brands are built and structured.

NFT owners would have a “stake” in the brand as a whole -- ownership would be pushed to the edges.

It’s an exciting concept.

And it's why I'm playing a small role...
