GOP: There is also nothing alarming about President Trump bringing 15 boxes of White House files with him to Mar-a-Lago, as this would necessarily keep them away from the prying eyes of the Deep State Democrats & the Liberal Media desperate to bring down our finest President

GOP: Simultaneously denying and enthusiastically supporting every horrifying thing Democrats accuse us of doing is an impressively acrobatic rhetorical stunt that requires the undying credulity of our base and the embarrassingly short attention span of our national media

GOP: Meanwhile, we’re going to laugh at Democrats for their TDS while making it virtually impossible for any other Republican to wrestle control of the Party away from Our One True Leader, who refuses to admit that he lost & likely spends every waking moment dreaming of revenge

GOP: Trump is the leader we’ve always dreamed of because he allows us to indulge in seditious & previously unthinkable behavior as long as we flatly deny that any of it is happening. Nobody really believes us, but that doesn’t matter because nobody’s punishing us for it either

GOP: We described the 1/6 rally as “legitimate political discourse” despite it having been based on the entirely fictitious premise that the election was stolen from Trump. We censured Cheney & Kinzinger as a warning to any other Republicans considering contradicting this premise

GOP: Many of our recent actions have been in the service of protecting Trump from previously overlooked fallibilities if & when he decides to run again; rest assured that we have many more people on board willing to overlook any ethical lapses necessary to return him to power
