The GoE needs to follow up publicly on its complaint to the @WHO Executive Board, which @DrTedros managed to neatly sidestep in a procedurally very dodgy manner, by getting the Board to make him responsible for determining how to deal with his own misconduct.

To make it easier here is the bit of the thread which records precisely how Kenyan EB meeting chairman Amoth's dealt with Ethiopia's "Note Verbal" complaint.

It would be extraordinary if this is the last word on this matter.....

In this set of words:

"and, if appropriate, be addressed by those concerned as they may deem appropriate"

"Those concerned" = @DrTedros.

@DrTedros You couldn't get away with procedural nonsense like this at your local bowling club.

So it ought not be possible to do so in a global governance organisation with a budget in the billions of USD.

@DrTedros But the United Nations is a peculiar organisation, and people are rarely held responsible for their misdeeds. So who knows.

In this case, not only is @DrTedros not being disciplined for his misuse of his platform to attack the Govt. that nominated him for his current role....

@DrTedros .. he is also continuing to do so.

And as of today @DrTedros is set to be reelected unopposed to his position as DG of @WHO without his organisation even bothering to provide a response a serious formal complaint against @DrTedros - the evidence for which is fully public.

The TPLF has succeeded in disgracing the US Administration of @JoeBiden, EU High Rep. @JosepBorrellF, the @WFP, the @UNReliefChief and @UN_Spokesperson OHCHR look like its poodles over the past year, along with most leading global media outlets and agencies.

Letting the cards fall where they will on @DrTedros is the least the UN and its diplomatic and media allies can do to make up for their failures in diplomacy and reporting on the truth about this war.
