Dear @AUBMC_Official
now that my hand healed smoothly, I want to thank Dr. George Abi Sa'ad (Head of Trauma surgery at #AUBMC)
I was bit by an aggressive dog days before New Year. my left hand had 9 holes, 3 of which were big and deep wounds.
/1
During my stay at ER, they cleaned the wounds, did some X-rays to assess and started with antibiotics, tetanus along with Pain killers.
The second day, Dr. George Abi Saad changed the wound dressings and asked to check the wounds every day as he was worried.
/2
The hero ended up changing the dressings of my hand more than 20 times!
The effort he did making sure none of the wounds gets infected was amazing.
I felt I wanted to share my gratitude to Dr. Abi Sa'ad 🙏🏻♥️♥️♥️

Note that the dog bite was an accident.
The dog was chained to a pole. and while he was sleeping, I was picking oranges 🍊from a box next to him. It seems he woke up the minute I raised my hand probably thinking I was about to attack him, so in one second he grabbed my hand.
/4
The second day of the accident, I checked on the dog, as I was supposed to monitor him for 5 days to make sure he had no rabies.
If he was sick then I would have had to take the rabies shot.
But, thank God he was healthy and started wagging his tail every time he sees me 🥰
/5
I was so happy after this accident that I was able to realise that it was an accident.
The dog was trained to be aggressive, it was not his fault.
But, I recommend those who train their dogs to be aggressive to be aware on how to handle them better.
And yes, I still love ♥️
/6
Yes, I still love dogs 🐕☺️♥️♥️♥️
We are the center of their universe. We are the focus of their love and faith and trust.
Dogs will teach you unconditional love.
Everyone thinks they have the best dog. And none of them are wrong☺️

Will anyone take #Fawaz out of his ‘dark well’😞
A video showed Syrian child Fawaz Qetaifan during brutal torture, in which he appeared crying ‘please don’t hit me’
Fawaz, 6 years, was kidnapped 2 months ago while he was going to school in the village of Ibtaa in Daraa
/1
The sources said the kidnappers demanded that the kidnapped child’s family pay 500 million Syrian pounds (US$140,000 equivalent) after broadcasting the video.
He appealed to Syrian citizens to free him
/2
The child’s relatives appealed to the kidnappers to release him and their willingness to pay the ransom “whatever it is” despite the difficult financial situation of the child’s parents and the lack of ingenuity in raising the required amount.

Dear Mr. #ErnestoRamirez
Being the new head of mission of the INTERNATIONAL MONETARY FUND, #Facts you should know about the senior Lebanese officials and members of the ministerial committee tasked to negotiate with the @IMFNews
/1
Bank owners, Bank investors, Politicians (who are bank owners and investors) are the committee working on the Capital Control law
Instead of having the Bank owners and investors carry the burden of the decisions THEY MADE when they lent OUR MONEY to BDL making huge profits on insanely high interest rates for years,

‘Water Salute’ to the Swiss International Airline (SWISS) after landing it’s first flight in #Beirut 🇱🇧 from #Zurich🇨🇭
The #WaterSalute is a touching airport tradition to honor new airline service.
/1
The water salute is a touching airport tradition to honor military veterans, foreign dignitaries and new airline service.
Salutes typically involve two firefighting rigs spraying arcs of water over an arriving or departing flight. It is a sign of respect, honour & gratitude.
/2
the water cannons are positioned carefully, in safe locations, allowing enough space for the plane to pass through. The wind direction is taken into account as well, and the process is coordinated together with Air Traffic Control.

5:00am, youths from #Akkar exposed a tank for storing gasoline in a site in Al-Talil area, north Akkar.
A camouflaged area for building materials, but actually it was a reservoir full of gasoline for the aim of monopolizing it or smuggled it to Syria (as stated)
/1
The Lebanese army confiscated most of the quantity, which was about 60,000 liters, according to a video that circulated yesterday at the moment the site was revealed.
They left 20,000 liters to be distributed to the people for free.
/2
People with shortage of gasoline headed at dawn to the site to take advantage of the opportunity to fill in gasoline in light of the shortage of the substance and in anticipation of the crazy rise it witnessed after the lifting of subsidies.

2 years of hard work, consultative & inclusive process, institutional mapping, public law discussion & voting in Parliament,
A law that was reviewed twice by the OECD-Sigma and the World Bank, praised by the procurement professionals network in the MENA & the int’l community.
/1
And after the @LBpresidency signed the public procurement Law No.244 of July 19, 2021,,,
The Free Patriotic Movement’s MPs challenged the Public Procurement Law in front of the constitutional council describing it as ‘illegible’😡
