1/ Sometimes I think it's common knowledge to be aware of basic tools when it comes to minting NFTs but I am reminded quite often this may not be the case for everyone.
Two tools (and their use case) everyone should use when minting an NFT π§΅
5/ At time of mint, you should see a transaction pop up.
The first transaction that you will see is the transaction execution, then you will see a second transaction pop up which is typically the confirmation of the transaction.
At this point is when you can attempt to mint.
6/ There is a caveat...
Sometimes there is a hardcoded Unix start time in the contract. If this is the case there will not be a transaction from the Owner wallet to open mint, instead mint will open at the hardcoded time automatically.
7/ Karafuru is actually a good example of this.
Under "Read Contract" you can see there is a "publicSalesStartTime" of 1644069600.
What you can do is take this time and date and enter into an epoch / unix countdown & converter.
Usage - Select amount of gwei and priority based on your comfort level and percentage of transaction success.
11/ I believe this tool is straight forward so wont go too in depth.
Use this to guide how much gas to apply to your transaction appropriately also keeping in mind what that fee will be for the transaction and your comfort level with that.
12/ I recommend monitoring this tool as the mint progresses as you may need to adjust (i.e. speed up) your transaction based on how gas prices fluctuate during the mint and their probability of success.
13/ Hope this helps folks that may not have been familiar with these tools and how helpful they can be during an NFT mint.
If you found value in this I ask that you like, retweet and/or comment and feel free to give me a follow for more helpful & educational threads in Web3 π
14/ FYI - I will add on to this in the future as there are other methods of minting and useful tips and tricks that I did not include.
