Asked about the deal by Ottawa Mayor Jim Watson to move more trucks onto Wellington St. Trudeau says knows city of Ottawa, police & elected officials have been pursuing end to blockades. Doesn't comment on the deal though #cdnpoli

Asked again about said deal, Trudeau says working in "concerted way" on measures that will hopefully "restore order" in Ottawa. Says financial measures will ensuring funds aren't used for illegal activities will "be significantly helpful in reducing size and impact" of blockades

Asked where Act will apply, Trudeau says the Act when it is national emergency & touches more than one province "necessarily covers the entire country," however the specific provisions laid out & measures will only apply "where they are needed." #cdnpoli
