2. So I left off talking about Pat King's stream last night and though it was a bit later in the clip, Pat actually used they "I have a Jewish" lawyer argument to "prove" he isn't a racist.
4. The rest of the video, and I won't show it all, is Pat King smugly confident he isn't going to jail because his "team of lawyers" is on the case.
In fact, once he sues the media for defamation of character (for reporting exactly what he has said), he thinks he will be rich.
5. Yep, he has put the police on notice and is having cease and desist orders written up as he speaks.
Also, it isn't that he is afraid of arrest that he isn't out. No no!
No, he's working on logistics.
6. Continues to claim that the orders are unlawful and claims more trucks are coming from all over.
7. More of Pat King saying that his team of lawyers is going to keep him out of jail.
Uhm... where has this "team" been every time you have had to represent yourself, Pat?
8. Like, I can't begin to describe how absolutely confident that Pat King is certain he won't be going to jail.
9. And he continues to be cryptic talking about all the illegal orders and threating that an unnamed senator will be going after Canada because Pat King once again doesn't understand how anything in the world works.
10. Later he posted this suggesting his lawyer "Mr. Shalom" asked him to do so to indicate his support for the occupation effort.
If "Mr. Shalom" is from Ottawa, I wonder if @PaulChampLaw knows this person ?
I mean, "Mr. Shaloom" COULD be real, but I must say I'm dubious.
11. In the meantime, arrests are indeed taking place.
30. Diagolon member ALex Vriend was also reporting on police movement from what it seems a safe distance.
I wonder how many of these people screaming "hold the line" are no where near "the line" or left "the line" before they themselves were caught behind "the line"?
52. As for Pat King, his "lawyer" who claims his name is "Mike" also "claims" he is going to use the Telegram page to get out information.
Most of those commenting believe this.
53. However, and unusual when it comes to anything Pat King related, there are skeptics.
Honestly, after seeing so many credulous comments from Pat's supporters here and on Facebook this was quite refreshing.
54. In Ottawa Diagolon member Alex Vriend has made it back to the hotel and is urging others to head in that direction to have a "snowball fight" with the police.
I'm sure he will also claim he is just joking and people shouldn't take him seriously.
56. A reminder that while attention has been focused on Ottawa and the border blockades (Coutts and Windsor especially), Winnipeg is in its second week of an occupation as well.
57. In one of the more bizarre lies Pat King has told is his claim to have "booked" the hotel rooms for some classic Canadian rockers who said agreed to play for the occupiers on February 19.
Tonight is from a set if stemless wine glass one of my bestest friends (Michelle) gave me for my birthday. The libation for the night is an inexpensive (not cheap!) Prosecco.
63. Also, regarding Pat's crypto page, I made a whoopies that this awesome person explains better than I can right now (thanks for catching it for me). :)
2. I was sent this yesterday. It is a clip of another occupier that catches Pat King in a conversation.
Pat said he was sick but got better. He then adds that this is "survival of the fittest" which is an odious suggestion that those who die are not fit to live.
3. Now I don't want to focus a lot on Pat King, but he did post a "patrol" video last night.
2. Parliament Hill at 9:18 am est and other webcam images at various times this morning.
3. So yesterday I listened to a Twitter Spaces meeting and Q&A with some of the leadership including BJ Dichter. It was an often acrimonious discussion, much related to the letter Tamara Lich and @JimWatsonOttawa negotiated. Suffice it to say there is dissention.
