"Yesterday, we hosted @imabhinavrai, Co-Founder of @InfluencerBit on our Growth Chat and spoke about influencer marketing in detail. Sharing the key takeaways with you all
1) Influencer marketing has grown 10X during the pandemic. As of 2022, it is predicted to be an over 20-billion-dollar industry and is slated for steady growth.
2)The pandemic also motivated people to explore their talents and share their creativity on social media which led to an emergence of a new breed of nano and micro-influencers.
3)Micro and nano influencers have followers ranging from 100 to 10,000; they engage more frequently, cater to a niche audience, and have resulted in better conversion than their macro counterparts.
4)Of late, brands have also realized the power of happy customers in influencing their peer group and enhancing brand image.
5)This is where email marketing can become a game-changer. Brands have been finding their advocates in satisfied customers and emails have been the most effective form of communication in this scenario.
6)The union between influencer and email marketing has also resulted in better open and click rates. For example, an influencer collaboration could make for a good subject line -"Virat Kohli's top winter picks"" is bound to catch more eyeballs than "Top 5 winter picks".
7)Moreover, the introduction of AMP emails has revolutionized not only the way emails work but also the way recipients respond. Brands can now close an entire conversation inside an email and recipients don't have to spend time visiting external links.
8) We then went on to discuss #influencermarketing and following are some tips for influencers -
# Invest in reels and YouTube shorts.
# Focus on quality content.
# Be consistent, regular, and authentic.
# Keep your audience engaged with comments, polls, and stories.
9) Similarly, Abhinav revealed their criteria to choose the right influencers for your brand-
# Check the like-to-comment ratio, following-follower ratio.
# Find out how the engagement and views on reels is.
# Check the frequency and consistency of the posts.
5 tips for a great email UX. A thread for all the #emailgeeks out there 🧵
1)Ensure that your email has a readable layout that follows a visual hierarchy with bold headlines, images, and CTAs. Typically, an average person spends 10 seconds reading an email. So, a good layout ensures that your message is delivered even though the user just skims through.
2) Good CTAs bring your emails to a logical conclusion and clearly direct the readers towards the desired action. At @mailmodo, we recommend CTAs that are short, actionable, and interactive. Ensure that your CTAs deliver what you promised in the email copy and offer value.
We at @mailmodo team had a chat with @ashwing on B2B SaaS email marketing and this thread is the distillation of all the gold nuggets from him.

1/14 Think of email as a strategy and not a mere channel-
✅ 1.5 billion people use email every day at work
✅ People can uninstall FB and Whatsapp but not email
✅ Don’t stop at converting users. But use emails to onboard and expand as well.
2/14 Write your emails from human to humans and NOT business to businesses. Write like you're writing to a friend. Be informal.
Lesser words are better. For Ashwin, <100 words have worked the best.
