Two years ago today I was taking sales calls during ANY break I had in college 7 days a week

Today I’ve made $3,000 before Noon

What changed?

2 years ago, every time I got paid it was like Christmas

I was so excited to get paid and I just wanted to hold onto that $ and grow the bank acc

this led to

> no time
> no scalability
> no real business

Starting Closify, we didn’t even pay ourselves until like July (we started it in Feb)

Until then, 100% of money was reinvested and still now we reinvest most money back into the biz

Any time we need to make a hire we do it

Co founders and partners

I cannot emphasize this enough

You don’t know what you don’t know.

A co founder(s) that compliment you and have already done what you want to accomplish is an IMMENSE help

Closify wouldn’t be where it is if I didn’t have the partners I do

I’ve had countless phone calls with them that changed the course of the business

On top of what they actually do in the business as well

Customer experience

Our first base pay/salary position was account management and our second was a project manager to help with account management

Making sure clients are happy, learning what they’re not happy about, and then improving it.

If people aren’t talking about your product/service and you don’t get lots of referrals

It’s probably not good enough

We get 15-20 calls a week organically from referrals/affiliates

Strategic partnerships

These should provide you with enough business to cover your expenses and some

Easily the most slept on lead gen channel

Swap email lists with people etc

Those are a few of the things that have brought me to where I am
