We have a 3rd-world justice system for January 6th defendants.

Federal judges, who have lifetime tenure and pay protection, have nonetheless allowed politics to poison their judgment.

They’ve ignored the law, including the presumption of innocence & the right to a speedy trial.

Remember:

Leftwing activist attorneys—like @EricHolder & now-SCOTUS nominee Ketanji Brown Jackson—went out of their way to provide free legal services from major law firms to ensure (suspected) 9/11 terrorists in Gitmo got a fair process.

Much, much worse than misguided 1/6ers.

The Constitution's Elections Clause (Art. I § 4, cl. 1) grants the state "Legislature" the power to determine the "Times, Places and Manner" of U.S. House elections.

Only Congress--not 4 partisan Democrat state judges--can override that.

How is that an "esoteric legal theory?"
Here's the exact language from @Westlaw:
Moreover, the Chief Justice wrote a very strong 4-5 dissent on this "esoteric legal theory" in June 2015.

Guess what's changed since then?

2 of the 5 justices (Ginsburg and Kennedy) in the majority are no longer on the Court.

Judge Jackson has only served on an appeals court for 8 months, where she's only written 2 opinions.

Trial and appellate opinions aren't the same.

Schumer stated a nominee's judicial philosophy and ideology is "the most important criteria."
