#Anonymous#OpRussia is targeting the government entity controlled by Putin. We are not engaging in cyber warfare against the civilian infrastructure of Russia. In some instances, Putin, or even the US government may choose to use us as pawns - we are aware of these risks.
We fight for the people of any nation under the heal of oppression. We want all activists to know that we are being watched by both sides (Russia and NATO) in this insane chess game. All we want is peace. We are online demonstrating against an unjust war.
Hacktivists: Do not take credit for taking down websites, or leaking information. If you are attacking websites without obfuscating your identity you run the risk of being used as a bargaining tool by NATO, or other various agencies involved. #Anonymous msn.com/en-us/news/mus…

We are #Anonymous
We are involved in the biggest Anonymous op ever seen. That being said, we are worried that some governments will indeed see us as a threat and create some scenario to make us look bad (false flag). We only want peace, not war. (continued)
We've been in the limelight before. We've made the news plenty of times, but never anything like what we are experiencing right now. We obviously know governments around the globe are watching what we are doing. Many of these governments have experienced our shenanigans. (cont)
We abhor violence. We are anti-war. We are against police brutality. We have raised our fists in the air to stand against aggressor's time and time again. We would never choose to hurt anyone physically. Understand this and know this if any government says otherwise. (cont)
"What can I do to help??"
You can text random people in Russia about what is going on in Ukraine. [use mobile phone to copy phone number and text]
Don't crash the site! If it's bogged down by traffic, try back later! 1920.in
This is the example text the site uses:
Уважаемые россияне, ваши СМИ подвергаются цензуре. Кремль лжет. Тысячи ваших солдат и украинских братьев гибнут на Украине. Узнайте правду в свободном Интернете и в приложении Telegram. Время свергнуть диктатора Путина!
Go to Google Maps. Go to Russia. Find a restaurant or business and write a review. When you write the review explain what is happening in Ukraine.
Idea via @Konrad03249040
If you don't know what to say here is an example text:
Еда была отличной! К сожалению, Путин испортил наши аппетиты, вторгшись в Украину. Противостаньте своему диктатору, прекратите убивать невинных людей! Ваше правительство лжет вам. Вставай!
Translation: The food was great! Unfortunately, Putin spoiled our appetites by invading Ukraine. Stand up to your dictator, stop killing innocent people! Your government is lying to you. Get up!
#Anonymous is currently involved in operations against the Russian Federation. Our operations are targeting the Russian government. There is an inevitability that the private sector will most likely be affected too. While this account cannot claim to speak for the whole (con)
of the Anonymous collective, we can in fact report the truths of Anonymous' collective actions against the Russian Federation. We want the Russian people to understand that we know it's hard for them to speak out against their dictator for fear of reprisals. (cont)
We, as a collective want only peace in the world. We want a future for all of humanity. So, while people around the globe smash your internet providers to bits, understand that it's entirely directed at the actions of the Russian government and Putin. (cont)
NATO is an open door organization, Putin demanding that Ukraine should never be allowed is inherently anti democratic. Now it's true that NATO is flawed, especially because of all the lies that led to the war in Afghanistan but that issue is completely seperate.
From yesterday's hour long speech you can see Putin's unhinged behavior, he wants to claim a sovereign country as his own because of historical borders
