But I’m even more impressed by a player somehow very few have on their radar. Let’s dive into @flufworld built by @NonFungibleLabs. 🧵

Let’s start with the “Why?”. The NZ based McDonald brothers (@aaronmcdnz, @dmcd_nz, @JeffIYPK) have been building a whole #Metaverse ecosystem for years & it gets revealed piece by piece. Their approach is unique. But it’s not only about their own world.

Their #OpenMetaverse Manifesto tries to get everyone to the table and work together on this vision. When I say everyone, I mean everyone. They have reached out to all the big #Metaverse worlds that are around right now to push towards truly interoperable virtual worlds.

What if instead of becoming hundreds of siloed experiences, we could create an ecosystem of worlds following certain standards and key integrations to any world?

Before I go on… some information about @flufworld:
After their first drop last August of fully-rigged, animated and groovy 3D rabbit avatars they have come a long way. Instead of writing all of this down, here’s a quick recap of what has happened.

I could now do a deep dive into why I’m hyped about @flufworld itself, the lore & all the characters. Instead I want to dive into one specific project called @seekers_xyz they’ve been working on for years and which will launch into its next phase THIS month. 🤖

The project is built by @sylo. From their website:
“Instead (...) facilitating their own centralised communications, we believe in a future where communities choose decentralised communication to protect the #Metaverse from the nefarious centralised platforms of tomorrow.”

The company @sylo has been around since 2010. They are “committed to decentralisation, they are the core developers of the Sylo Network, Sylo Protocol and Sylo Smart Wallet” and also have their own coin called $SYLO.

$SYLO powers the utility of the Sylo Network - rewarding Sylo Nodes for high quality service.
But @sylo is also building an SDK that “supercharges your digital world with the ability for NFT profiles to communicate, wherever they are”.
This is where it gets really exciting. 😱

No matter if you spend time in @decentraland, the upcoming @BoredApeYC world, @flufworld or even the physical world. You’ll be able to communicate through the same protocol no matter where.

.@Sylo will enable you to communicate with anyone anywhere. You’ll be able to send message to wallets, to #NFTs (and as such their owner) or even broadcast messages to whole projects.🤯

Right now there are 276 @Sylo Nodes. But this month they will massively increase the nodes in their network through the @seekers_xyz #NFTs. Every single Seeker can be turned into a node. (They will provide educational material on how to do that.🤓)

The collection will be released through a revolutionary drop mechanic. Instead of a decreasing price like in Dutch Auctions, there'll be a decreasing supply. Starting at 50k it gets decreased every two seconds at a rate of ~10.000 / 6 hours.

In this drop you will mint a so called “Seekers Beacon”. (Art preview below) This beacon calls for your seeker to return home and will do so in a few weeks after mint.

Side Note: We will be able to hack & modify these #NFTs. Just like we can swap out backgrounds & music on #FLUFs, we’ll be able to modify our robots.

Let's look at how they probably will be operated.🤖 @altstatemachine, another part of @flufworld, works on “Non-Fungible Intelligence”. Their brains will enable your characters (like #FLUF, @partybearNFT, #Thingies or even #BAYC) walk autonomously through virtual worlds.

On top of that I expect a #VoiceInterface, so every Seeker has the potential to become your personal #VoiceAssistant.
