In the afternoon of 10 January 2022 two police officers came to Zhumabike's house and took him to the Police Department. There, he was forced to write an explanatory note.
Then, he was taken to the Zavodskoy Police Department where he was held for 24 hours.

He was tried on 11 January 2022. The judge sentenced him to 15 days of administrative arrest. According to YESHIMBETOV Zhumabike, the protesters were tried one after another within 3 minutes allocated per each. There were no lawyers with them.

4 days later YESHIMBETOV Zhumabike was taken to the temporary detention facility located in Aiteke bi Street. He was held there until 26 January 2022. He was released at night at 03:00 am.
