Certainty ✅

How certainty plays a role in our decisions.

Most who start trading with charts and do deep technical analysis fail to start trading.

As a result, keep researching & scouting for more TA & yet remained feared.

If you wait for 100% certainty you will not trade

Even if they start, they stumble and keep procrastinating until they are 90%, 95%, or 100% sure.

Which never happens...

The feeling of being independent is a personality trait.

This independency make the best Technical Analysts!

The root of this problem is our schooling.

School teaches us not to act until we are 100% sure.

Which is not a true approach to world living!

In the "Real World", 70% confidence is when you must start and take action.

Most decisions should be taken when we have 70% of the information, which ofcourse is our personal opinion.

The truth could be that it is just 10% of what the sum of all information would be.

If you want to achieve 90% in most cases, you are probably being slow and chasing the stock for entry.

So we procrastinate because we are afraid of looking stupid.

We are afraid because we don't have all the answers right now.

Better ignore and began even if you have 70% of the information.

Make a Decision and Trade!, create Certainty!

Parabolic SAR / PSAR / P SAR

PSAR is a Trend Reversal Indicator, with a feature to use the PSAR Value for Stop Loss Trailing which isn’t available with other Trend Reversal Indicators.

It is an Overlay Indicator seen as Dots as an Overlay on Chart either just below or above the price as below

If the trigger value is used as Entry Stop Loss, it may prove to be ‘safe’ from whipsaws in the early stages of entry before the trend matures.

Thanks to the Concept of Holi in the Indian Ecosystem.

Indian villages have such a grand ecosystem that sees no bushfires.

A month before Holi also called Hutanshi Pornima in the western Sahyadri Mountain in Konkan & Goa villages they light fires on the dry mountain ranges in the night part by part and segregate zones to contain the fires too.

Anyone in know can add.

If you ever drive through the night in this region you will see mountain fires which are not wildfires but intentionally lighted

All dead wood is collected every day for a week before Holi and every day in the night there are bonfires till the last day called Holi

Daily True Range is different from a known indicator ATR or Average True Range

A quick read to understand the difference and relevance of DTR.

Most of us have to make trading decisions on how much price rise or fall to expect on Intra Day Trading.

For that one needs to know the average volatility on a day and the scope of further range at the time of entering an intraday trade.

We use ATR as an indicator for true range on a day.

But ATR includes the range of Gaps too.

Ironically, post Open, the Gap rise or fall is worth holding overnight positions.

Post Open, assessing what balance price range is achievable on a day is not easy to guess.
