"My job is to protect my son from harm so he can forge ahead & fulfil his dreams. However, that is much more difficult now w/his predisposition to serious illness. He is now at greater risk physically & mentally since⬆️physical risk is further compounded by ostracization." 5/

"Z. The Omicron variant has resulted in a rapid rise in infection, hospitalization, and ICU admission rates in BC and has led me to conclude that measures continue to be needed to temper the extent of transmission, reduce severity of disease…”20/
"#DrHenry says...I have reason to believe & do believe that: (a) …the presence of highly transmissible Omicron variant, poses a risk to health of population, threatens capacity of PH & HC systems to address the health care needs of the pop & constitutes a health hazard;.." 21/
"(b)...it's necessary to keep in place PREVENTATIVE MEASURES to reduce risk...which could lead to widespread infection/serious illness…& overwhelm PH systems, which are already operating beyond capacity; (c) it's in public interest for me to proceed on PRECAUTIONARY BASIS..."22/
