Dear @twittersafety I don’t know whether this is real or not, but I do know it is suddenly being shared by a known TPLF disinformation account as news is breaking about mass graves being found in Welkaite (aka Western Tigray).

One of the replies says this is a video of military training which seems possible, but the video cold literally he from anywhere, and when it comes to misusing images and videos of atrocities, starving children and dead bodies TPLF’s disinformation army are the experts.

I appreciate @twittersafety that you are currently focussed Ukraine but it’s worth noting that the death toll in the Ethiopian war started by the TPLF on U.S. election night last year - civilian and military - is much higher than that yet experienced in Ukraine.

So far from what I can see @TwitterSafety’s focus in the Ethiopia conflict appears to have been on blocking pro-government accounts, I.E. supporting the TPLF, and on suppressing the pro-peace anti-lies efforts of “#NoMore” digital activists.

With TPLF currently occupying Afar Region, displacing 100s of thousands of people and killing hundreds of civilians - and simultaneously mounting disinfo operations to avert accountability for their atrocities…. widerimage.reuters.com/story/new-fron…

… now might be a good opportunity for @TwitterSafety to start doing what it is doing in Ukraine, I.E. targeting harmful misinformation in time of war in Ethiopia, and specifically the activities of the TPLF digital cadre which can be very easily found via #TigrayGenocide.

The #TigrayGenocide hashtag, you will see, was launched on the very day the war was started by the TPLF, November 4th, 2020, and is clearly part of their war effort. You will find if you look for it a very misleading Rand report on this - but you need to do your own research.

You could enlist @bellingcat to help possibly.
