1) Follow up on the recent thread where I've written a run-through the #CosmosEcosystem. Let's dive a little bit deeper into the history of @cosmos and where it all started.

This thread also covers @osmosiszone & @EvmosOrg.

$ATOM $OSMO $EVMOS

🧵
2) Blockchain software architect Jae Kwon founded Tendermint in 2014 and created Tendermint Core, a blockchain engine that creates Proof-of-Stake consensus algorithms. Ethan Buchman went on to refine the Tendermint consensus algorithm that now powers #Cosmos.
3) The two Tendermint co-founders published the Cosmos white paper in 2016 under the name: A Network of Distributed Ledgers.
The ICO of the $ATOM token in 2017, was incredibly successful raising 16.8 Million USD.
Tendermint, one of the core contributors building…
4) the #CosmosEcosystem, raised 9 million USD in a funding round in 2019 for the development of the project. The ecosystem has been growing, expanding, and evolving incredibly fast from that moment onwards.
5) Cosmos aims to address some of the issues faced by other blockchains. Such as scalability, usability, fees, and governance by providing the tools for developers to build independent blockchains for a variety of use cases and enabling blockchains in the network to communicate.
6) Cosmos enables independent blockchains to exchange information and tokens with each other permissionlessly. Its vision of being a network of blockchains is achieved through open-source tools such as the Tendermint consensus engine…
7) and a BFT consensus algorithm, Cosmos software development kit (SDK), and the Inter-Blockchain Communication Protocol, like a TCP/IP for blockchains, allows blockchains to connect to each other to exchange data and value.
8) What I'm most excited about and which is (in my opinion) one of the key factors that #Cosmos will thrive is #IBC. IBC was launched in March last year on Cosmos Hub, and there are currently over 40 blockchains built on the Cosmos SDK that joined the #IBCGang.
9) Obviously, the biggest DEX on Cosmos, @osmosiszone is IBC enabled. Osmosis is an Automated Market Maker hub built on the Cosmos SDK mainly for liquidity providers. Osmosis Zone benefits from high liquidity and a wide range of tokens on a single service. #IBC only!
10) It provides this through IBC functionality and has access to any Cosmos SDK network that has adopted IBC. This allows Osmosis to provide staking & liquidity services. On-chain governance ensures that there is minimal disconnect between users and the direction of the network.
11) It's even better to say that Osmosis users have full control of their destinies in the Cosmos ecosystem. How cool is that? I hope you now understand how important it is to vote on governance proposals. We (the community) decide the direction together.
12) Before you can interact with Osmosis, you need a Keplr wallet, which should only be downloaded as a mobile app or as a Chrome extension. To clarify, Keplr has not released a Firefox extension, and if you see one, it is a scam. Also, watch out for fake telegram groups. DYR!
13) You can either set up a new wallet, connect to a Ledger device, or sync with an existing wallet using a mnemonic phrase. Having a Keplr wallet will allow you to connect to the Osmosis Zone and start your journey. @keplrwallet is the godfather of all wallets IMO!
14) Personally, I hold and stake $OSMO since $4 and I will continue to do so. There are several reasons why I think $OSMO is a good investment. As IBC & Cosmos continue to grow, the trading volume on the exchange will grow along, which will increase the value of the token.
15) The total value locked on Osmosis keeps rising and smashing new ATH's. Not to mention all the free tokens due to #airdrops.
Another reason why I'm hella bullish on #Cosmos & $OSMO is the increased attention Cosmos has directed toward EVM compatibility and cross-chain bridges.
16) @EvmosOrg is a current project in development that is working on becoming the first IBC-compatible EVM-based chain, and it is currently supporting ERC-20 tokens on its testnet. Imagine connecting #ETH to #Cosmos. Please pay attention. History is being created right here!
17) Imagine the possibilities if ERC-20 tokens could bridge to Osmosis for example. The price of $OSMO would skyrocket, and with that, the money that flows into the #CosmosEcosystem is beyond imagination!
18) Thank you if you have been reading this thread so far. I really hope this thread helps people & raises awareness for the Cosmos ecosystem.

One last thing. If you follow me, you are probably into #Cosmos & #IBC. So let me be the one to tell you that you are going to make it!

1) Why the #CosmosEcosystem? A run-through...🧵

$ATOM powers an ecosystem of blockchains designed to scale and interoperate with each other. The team aims to create an Internet of Blockchains, a network of blockchains able to communicate with each other in a decentralized way. Image
2) $JUNO is a Layer 1 platform built on top of Cosmos. It is a sovereign public blockchain in the Cosmos ecosystem, which provides an environment for deploying interoperable smart contracts. To make a long story short, It's heaven for building decentralized applications.
3) $OSMO Osmosis is a decentralized peer-to-peer blockchain that people can use to create liquidity and trade #IBC enabled tokens. The Osmosis blockchain is made up of free, public, and open-source software.

1) You all know I'm a massive fan of @ComdexOfficial and what they're building, right?

Dive with me into this thread and let me explain some things about $CMDX and why I believe this is going to be one hell of a journey!

Support is much appreciated champs. Let's go! ⚛️
2) What is Comdex? Comdex is a decentralized synthetics protocol in the Cosmos Ecosystem. Comdex aims to provide users access to commodity assets, on-chain, which have inherent and tangible value. Users can gain exposure to a range of synthetic perpetual commodity contracts.
3) Cool and all, but what does this actually mean? Comdex allows it's users to create and exchange synthetics known as C-assets. C-assets are on-chain derivatives that represent real world assets. Such as gold and silver. Because of Comdex these will be tradable...

1) I noticed that many people are still not aware of #IBC. I've written a thread about inter-blockchain communication. I will also dive into some of the projects which have already enabled IBC and their latest updates.

Let's go Cosmonauts! ⚛ Image
2) First, let's look at what IBC is. Networks are essential for us as individuals and for any system that wants to scale. The IBC is all about networks and connecting them. The #Cosmos vision is to build bridges between blockchains and allow these blockchains...
3) to communicate and trade freely. These bridges are a protocol called IBC. The Cosmos ecosystem provides the tools to overcome many limitations that blockchain networks struggle with, like scaling and mass adoption. This is the reason why Cosmos is the next big thing imo. Image

1) In my recent thread I've pointed out why I'm bullish on @QuickswapDEX. I'd like to dive in some more because I don't want people to miss out on all the advantages.🙏💯

A thread....
2) Uniswap's fees are too high for smaller investors. In my opinion, the most significant advantage of QuickSwap is the transaction speed and low fees, which makes it accessible and attractive for smaller investors as well. Quickswap has grown in popularity due to these things.
3) Users can trade any pair with Quickswap by bridging ERC-20 tokens from Ethereum to Polygon, as long as there is a liquidity pool for the token. QuickSwap has the ability to exchange ERC-20 tokens using a bridge, and therefore you don't pay the high ETH fees.

I made a thread about @pStakeFinance to help understand the value and bring awareness of this game changing product. I will explain in short how to use it as well.

What is pSTAKE?

pSTAKE allows holders of PoS tokens to securely stake their network tokens to earn staking rewards while receiving 1:1 pegged ERC-20 stkTOKEN that represent staked tokens which can then be used in Ethereum’s DeFi ecosystem. Image
Its all about unlocking liquidity for staked assets. You can stake your assets to earn staking rewards plus receive 1:1 pegged staked representative tokens which can be used in #DeFi to generate additional yield. So youre earning staking rewards and tokens at the same time. Image
