NASA’s C-130 aircraft is heading to #Sweden (🇸🇪) to deliver materials for upcoming high-altitude balloon tests.

The aircraft landed at Goose Bay, northeastern #Canada (🇨🇦) earlier today and will likely cross the Atlantic Ocean in the coming days.

The aircraft will fly to Stockholm, Sweden later today.
NASA's C-130 is up above the Atlantic Ocean on its way to Sweden.

Looks like it won't fly above the Netherlands ☹️
The aircraft is approaching Stockholm, Sweden (🇸🇪).

A US Navy (🇺🇸) P-8 Poseidon aircraft was reportedly tracking Moskva shortly before it was attacked.

Sources claimed that the marine patrol aircraft used its sea-surface radar and sonar buoys to provide weapons-quality tracks to Ukrainian forces, who targeted and sunk the ship. Image
Two things I want to clear up:

Yes, this is unconfirmed and could be inaccurate. I will delete the tweet if the story is confirmed false.

Some people are seeing this is unlikely. I disagree, P-8s have been spotted above northeastern Romania for weeks, likely to …

.. track ships on the Black Sea. It isn’t a secret that the US is sharing intelligence with the Ukrainians as well.

That said, this could be seen as an escalation in the eyes of Russia. I sincerely hope that is not the case.

Two USAF RC-135 Cobra Ball aircraft are returning to Eielson AFB, Alaska (🇺🇸) from a ~6 hours long mission.

The aircraft are used to observe (ballistic) missile flights at long range.

DOLLY27 // 62-4128 // #AE01D7 Image
The two aircraft likely monitored the first test of #Russia’s (🇷🇺) RS-28 Sarmat ICBM.

It’s quite rare to see two Cobra Ball aircraft working together, so I think the United States (🇺🇸) really wanted to get a lot of data on the missile.

Thanks to @spook_info for pointing this (the missile test) out!

German Air Force (🇩🇪) A319 with an 'Open Skies' callsign orbiting above NATO airbase Geilenkirchen.

The Open Skies Treaty permits each state party to conduct short-notice, unarmed, reconnaissance flights.

FYI, it’s a German plane but that doesn’t mean the Germans are conducting this flight.

Another state party is likely on this flight (gathering the intelligence).
Still up above Geilenkirchen AB in a slightly lower orbit (and closer to the air base as well). Image

Important message for people thinking about volunteering to join the war in #Ukraine (🇺🇦).

“Advice to volunteers: This isn’t a game. What we are witnessing is a scale of combat that’s unprecedented in modern times. I’m an infantry veteran…

… of the battles of Fallujah and Ramadi and even I’m questioning my qualifications for this. If you aren’t a professional soldier, don’t get involved.

Watching YouTube videos and receiving civilian level training just isn’t good enough. I’m sorry, I know…

… you want to help, but it’s not good enough. You can help more by staying out of it.
Your ignorance of conventional warfare will get yourself, or those around you killed. Light discipline. Crossing danger areas. Treating sucking chest wounds. Self-aid, buddy aid.

*Unconfirmed* reports that 5,000 Russian soldiers in Belgorod staged a riot and refused to fight in #Ukraine (🇺🇦).

Big, if true. Again, unconfirmed reports!
Did I already say these reports were unconfirmed?
I will go to sleep now and will be offline until tomorrow morning.

If these reports are false, you will likely see it in other accounts. If not, please share the debunks below so others can see it!

(I will delete the tweet when I have confirmation it’s not true)
