As per some reports, a #Chinese professor is among those killed in today’s blast near Karachi university. The blast occurred outside Confucius institute, #Karachi university. Four are dead. In July 2021, 12, including 9 Chinese nationals were killed in a blast inside a mini-bus.

According to local media, the Director of the Confucius institute had written to the #Karachi university administration earlier and requested for tangible steps to enhance the security of #Chinese nationals, but no practical steps were taken.

The University of #Karachi spokesperson confirms three Chinese nationals were killed during today's bombing near a van carrying #Chinese nationals. They are named Confucius Institute Director Huang Guiping, lecturer Ding Mufang, Chen Sa, and Khalid, the driver.
