#Moldova v.brief update 27 Apr 2022 : shots were heard near Cobasna weapons depot housing ~20.000MetricTons of #Russia munitions in the "separatist" region Ru supports. MLD Govt stated shots were fired nearby in #Ukraine not Cobasna, as the border is near.

2. Here is a video by "Ministry of Interior" of #Russia controlled "separatist" region of #Moldova showing the attack with 3 RPGs on 25Apr2022 on transnistiran MGB. They blamed #Ukraine yet attackers are masked & the car has hardly visible license plates

3. "Select" #Moldova media received a list from some transnistrian MGB "patriotic" officers of those allegedly responsible for security situation aggravation in the region - the list includes #Russia GRU coordinators & their assets, etc (too suspicious?)

4. Meanwhile, adviser to Ukrainian Presidential CoS, @arestovych suggest/offers #Moldova to ask for #Ukraine & #Romania help if #Russia intervenes. Tbh, pretty much the same ideas I suggested to iirc two Moldovan Ministers in 2010/2011 and 2015.

5. In this context of #Ukraine adviser speaking about #Romania its MoD immediately denied the presence of any military on the territory of #Moldova, as #Russia & their "separatists" claimed the same during 1992 war, "justifying" their "separation".

#Moldova election day, July 11 - about 48.28% of the registered voters have exercised their right to elect by 21.43hrs in the Republic of Moldova and abroad. This is a considerably lower percentage than during Presidential elections:
2. The approximate distribution by gender and age of the voters in #Modova elections today (as it was recorded at 21.43hrs Moldovan time) is aprox 54% women voters and aprox. 45% men.
3. Preliminary exit poll data - based on phone interviews and w/o Transnistrian region - was presented at around 20.00hrs #Moldova time with PAS (President Sandu's) in lead. Yet, exit polls in the previous elections have been wildly inaccurate, resulting in confusion.
