Over the next week I will be recapping my overall thoughts on what every team did in the 2022 #NFLDraft.

Today I will start with the NFC West and cover the @AZCardinals, @RamsNFL, @49ers and @Seahawks
the @AZCardinals recap

2 (55) TE Trey McBride
3 (87) EDGE Cam Thomas
3 (100) Edge Myjai Sanders
6 (201) RB Keaontay Ingram
6 (215) OG Lecitus Smith
7 (244) CB Christian Matthew
7 (256) LB Jesse Luketa
7 (257) OG Marquis Hayes

fav pick: Thomas
value pick: Luketa
? pick: McBride
draft haul has to include trading for M Brown giving them explosive speed WR they need with loss of Kirk & suspension of Nuk. I think they had more pressing needs than TE after giving Ertz a new 3 yr deal. Think Thomas can become starter & Luketa could have went early 4th
the @RamsNFL draft haul

3 (104) OG Logan Bruss
4 (142) CB Decobie Durant
5 (164) RB Kyren Williams
6 (211) Quentin Lake
6 (212) Derion Kendrick
7 (235) LB Daniel Hardy
7 (253) S Russ Yeast
7 (261) OT A.J. Arcuri

fav pick: Williams
value pick: Lake
? pick: all 3 7ths
the lack of picks was due to the Stafford/Von deals which they do not regret. The Rams do well finding functional role players & or starters in the mid rounds. They may have done so again with Bruss who can be a starting OG and Kyren Williams who can become a James White weapon
the @49ers

2 (61) EDGE Drake Jackson
3 (93) RB Tyrion Davis-Price
3 SMU WR Danny Gray
4 (134) OT Spencer Burford
5 (172) CB Sam Womack
6 (187) OT Nick Zakelj
6 (220) DT Kalia Davis
6 (221) CB Tariq Castro-Fields
7 (262) QB Brock Purdy

fav: Gray
value: Jackson
?: Davis-Price
49ers did not have a pick due to Trey Lance trade & will not be able to judge that deal until we see him play for a few years. Love the Jackson pick who even was getting some late Rd 1 buzz. Gray reminds me of D. Mooney & WR may soon be a big need. Drafting another gap RB was odd
the @Seahawks

1 (9) OT Charles Cross
2 (40) EDGE Boye Mafe
2 (41) RB Kenneth Walker
3 (72) OT Abe Lucas
4 (109) CB Coby Bryant
5 (153) CB Tariq Woolen
5 (158) EDGE Tyreke Smith
7 (229) WR Bo Melton
7 (233) WR Dareke Young

fav: Mafe/Cross
value: Bryant/Woolen/Melton
?: Walker
minus taking a RB when they had much bigger needs, I really liked their draft. They got possibly two starting OT in Cross & Lucas. Mafe was a top 5 edge for me. Bryant/Woolen were great values by a round 1 rd for Bryant & 2 for Woolen & can become starters, Melton was a steal
Next up in the recaps the #NFCEast
#cowboys Draft
1 (24) OL T. Smith
2 (56) DE S. Williams
3 (88) WR J. Tolbert
4 (129) TE J. Ferguson
5 (155) OT M. Waletzko
5 (167) CB D. Bland
5 (176) LB D Clark
5 (178) DT J. Ridgeway
6 (193) LB D. Harper

Fav: Tolbert
Value: Clark
?: Williams
Liked some of the draft for Dal, Damone Clark in round 5 could be a steal, pre injury he was going early to mid 2. Tolbert and Ridgeway were also very good picks. Williams in RD 2 seemed like at least a round too early due to off field issues. Smith should help the OL instantly
the #NYGiants
1 (5) DE Thibodeaux

1 (7) OT Neal

2 (43) WR W. Robinson

3 (67) OG J. Ezeudu

3 (81) CB C. Flott

4 (112) TE D. Bellinger

4 (114) S D Belton

5 (146) LB M McFadden

5 (147) DT DJ Davidson

5 (173) OG McKethan

6 (182) LB Beavers

Fav: Neal
Value: Beavers
?: Flott
The Giants got possibly 2 franchise cornerstone picks in Thibs & Neal and important positions of value, creating great bookends at OT/Edge. Wan'dale pick looks like a reach to some but I love the player. Would have went diff picks on Day 2 but they fit new scheme. Like Day 3 LBs
the #PhiladelphiaEagles draft haul

1 (13). DT Jordan Davis

2 (51). C Cam Jurgens

3 (83). LB Nakobe Dean

6 (181). EDGE Kyron Johnson

6 (198). TE Grant Calcaterra
The Eagles draft haul includes 3 starters with those first 3 picks, plus an intriguing pass catching TE that I thought years ago reminded me of Dallas Clark pre-retirement, but added a top 7 Elite WR in the NFL in AJ Brown & a future 1st from NO, biggest winners of the draft
the #WashingtonCommanders draft
1 (16) WR Jahan Dotson
2 (47) DT Phidarian Mathis
3 (98) RB Brian Robinson
4 (113) S Percy Butler
5 (144) QB Sam Howell
5 (149) TE Cole Turner
7 (230) OG Chris Paul
7 (240) CB Christian Holmes

Fav: Dotson
Value: Howell
?: Robinson
I do not think Dotson was a reach as I thought he was a RD 1 lock and is a better hands & more explosive Diontae Johnson. Howell is great value as he was discussed a Day 2 lock. The 3rd rder could have been used on a more pressing need with Gibson and Mckissic already there
up next #NFCSouth
#Falcons draft

1 (8) WR D London
2 (38) EDGE A Ebiketie
2 (58) LB Troy Andersen
3 (74) QB Desmond Ridder
3 (82) DE DeAngelo Malone
5 (151) RB Tyler Allgeier
6 (190) OG Justin Shaffer
6 (213) TE TE John FitzPatrick

Fav: Ebiketie
Value: Ridder
?: Shaffer/London
really liked the Atl draft ALOT! While I would have went a different WR than London who was my 5th WR, I get why they took him. Ebiketie has 1st rd talent & great 1st step. Ridder was worth an early 2 who I compare to Kaepernick. Shaffer over his teammate Salyer was questionable
#CarolinaPanthers draft

1 (6) OL Ikem Ekwonu
3 (94) QB Matt Corral
4 (120) LB Brandon Smith
6 (189) EDGE Amare Barno
6 (199) OG Cade Mays
7 (242) CB Kalon Barnes

Fav: Ekwnonu
Value: Corral/Barno
?: Smith/trading away so many picks for Sam Darnold
with the picks the Panthers had I think they had a solid draft. They did not reach for a QB, got one of the top 2 OL in the draft. Corral was my QB 2 & thought he was worth an early 2nd so they got great value. He will beat out Darnold by mid year. Barno has great bend off edge
#Saints draft haul

1 (11) WR Chris Olave
1 (19) OT Trevor Penning
2 (49). Tenn CB Alontae Taylor
5 (161). Appalachian State LB D’Marco Jackson
6 (194). Air Force DL Jordan Jackson

Fav Pick: Olave
Value Pick: Penning
? Moves: Trading so much future draft capital away for Olave
I like who the Saints got with their first 2 picks as I preferred Olave over even Drake London and Penning falling to pick 19 when some thought he would go earlier was good value. The issue is they gave up away so much future draft capital to get that extra 1st & move up again
#Buccaneers draft

2 (33) DL Logan Hall
2 (57) OT Luke Goedeke
3 (91) RB Rachaad White
4 (106) TE Cade Otton
4 (133) P Jake Camarda
5 (157) CB Zyon McCollum
6 (218) TE Ko Kieft
7 (248) Andre Anthony

Fav: White/Goedeke
Value: McCollum/Otton
?: late rd picks
thought the Bucs had a strong draft, Hall is a versatile defender who can play all over the DL, they got a starting RT in Goedeke, Otton can be a future starting TE, White can catch 70-80 passes out of backfield & reminds of A. Gibson. McCollum was taken 2 rds later than expected
#Bears draft
2 (39)CB K. Gordon
2 (48)S J. Brisker
3 (71)WR Velus Jones
5 (168)OL Braxton Jones
5 (174)DE Dominique Robinson
6 (186)OT Zachary Thomas
6 (203)RB Trestan Ebner
6 (207)C Doug Kramer
7 (226)OL Ja’Tyre Carter
7 (254)S Elijah Hicks

Fav: Gordon
Value: Robinson
?: Jones
Chi moved around a lot to get more picks & I think Gordon/Brisker are long term good starters in the secondary. The value on D. Robinson who I thought could go RD 3 was great but the big question is what have they done to help J. Fields succeed, gaping holes at OL/WR still exist
#DetroitLions draft

1 (2) DE Aidan Hutchinson
1 (12) WR Jameson Williams
2 (46) DE Josh Paschal
3 (97) S Kerby Joseph
5 (177) TE James Mitchell
6 (188) LB Malcolm Rodriguez
6 (217) LB James Houston
7 (237) CB Chase Lucas

Fav: Williams
Value: Rodriguez
? Not taking a QB anywhere
Loved Lions Draft, Hutch is made to play for that team/coach & could be a 10 sack guy for a long time. Love the aggressive trade up (did not cost much either) to get most explosive WR in draft. Rodriguez was arguably the best value pick in draft, should have went late 3/early 4
#Packers draft
1(22)LB Q. Walker
1(28)DL D. Wyatt
2(34)WR C. Watson
3(92)OL Sean Rhyan
4(132)WR Romeo Doubs
4(140)C Zach Tom
5(179)DE Kingsley Enagbare
7(228)LB Tariq Carpenter
7(234)DT Jonathan Ford
7(249)OT Rasheed Walker
7(258)WR Samori Toure

Fav:Rhyan
Value:Walker
?:Watson
I liked the GB draft overall. I would have liked them to be more aggressive moving up in RD 1 to get one of the clear 6 top WRs who are ready to make an impact in Year 1. Found 3 possible future starting OL in Rhyan, Tom & Walker, think Doubs could surprise & make year 1 impact
#Vikings draft
1(32) S L. Cine
2(42) CB Andrew Booth
2(59) OG Ed Ingram
3(66) LB Brian Asamoah
4(118) CB Akayleb Evans
5(165) DL Esezi Otomewo
5(169) RB Ty Chandler
6(184) OT Vederian Lowe
6(191) WR Jalen Nailor
7 (227) TE Nick Muse

Fav: Booth
Value:Chandler
?: trade down/Ingram
I was not a fan of the Vikings draft as the trade down in RD 1 was horrendous value they got in return. I like the trade up/pick up Booth in RD 2 who if health works out, was a top 20 pick in draft. After that besides the Chandler pick who I liked, thought every other pick was eh
#AFCEast is up

#BillsMafia draft
1 (23)CB Kaiir Elam
2 (63)RB James Cook
3 (89)LB Terrel Bernard
5 (148) WR Khalil Shakir
6 (180)P Matt Araiza
6 (185)CB Christian Benford
6 (209)OT Luke Tenuta
7 (231)LB Baylon Spector

Fav: Cook/Elam
Value: Shakir
?: Bernard
Loved the Bills draft as they smartly went CB in rd one after trade up over B. Hall. J. Cook was one of my fav players in draft, will add new element to offense. Shakir in Rd 5 was a steal and could become their WR3 in slot. Liked some more LBs over Bernard in RD 3
#MiamiDolphins draft

3 (102). Georgia LB Channing Tindall
4 (125). Texas Tech WR Erik Ezukanma
7 (224). California LB Cameron Goode
7 (247). Kansas State QB Skylar Thompson

Fav: Tindall
Value: none
?: none
Dolphins were lacking picks due to the T. Hill trade, which was a great deal for them. With the picks they had I like Tindall who should be a starting LB soon. Ezukanma is a good upside pick in rd 4 who could emerge into a Top 4 WR on depth chart. Thompson good developmental QB
#PATRIOTS draft
1 (29)OG Cole Strange
2 (50)WR Tyquan Thornton
3 (85)CB Marcus Jones
4 (121)DB Jack Jones
4 (127)RB Pierre Strong
4 (137)QB Bailey Zappe
6 (183)RB Kevin Harris
6(200)DE Sam Roberts
6(210)OG Chasen Hines
7(245)OG Andrew Stueber

Fav: Jones
Value: Strong
?: Strange
Pats seemed to reach early based off the consensus board and could have moved around more, picked up more assets and got the guys they targeted. I like Strange/Thornton but seemed to be 1/2 to a rd too early. I like some of the day 3 picks and think they got good value on them
#NYJets Draft

1 (4). CB Sauce Gardner
1 (10). WR Garrett Wilson
1 (26). EDGE Jermaine Johnson
2 (36). RB Breece Hall
3 (101). TE Jeremy Ruckert
4 (111). OT Max Mitchell
4 (117). DE Micheal Clemons

Fav: Sauce/Wilson
Value: Johnson/Ruckert/Mitchell
?: Hall (but still like it)
Best draft of any team. Got 4 1st rd talents, 3 top 10 talents. Loved both trade ups and did not cost them much at all either one. Great value on Ruckert who could have went early 3rd, great value on Clemons who could have went Day 2. Only ? was why they did not address OL more
Up next #AFCNorth

#Bengals draft
1 (31) DB Daxton Hill
2 (60) CB Cam Taylor-Britt
3 (95). Florida DT Zachary Carter
4 (136). North Dakota State OL Cordell Volson
5 (166). Toledo S Tycen Anderson
7 (252). Coastal Carolina DE Jeffrey Gunter

Fav: Hill
Value: Anderson
?: Carter
think Hill is a versatile defender who can play FS/slot but hope this does not signal letting Bates goes when he is a FA. T. Anderson can be a future starting S. They really added pieces to upgrade secondary long term. Would have preferred going OL help earlier, maybe over Carter
#Ravens draft
1(14)S K. Hamilton
1(25)C T. Linderbaum
2(45)DE D. Ojabo
3(76)DT T. Jones
4(110)OT Daniel Faalele
4(119)CB J. Armour-Davis
4(128)TE Charlie Kolar
4(130)P Jordan Stout
4(139)TE Isaiah Likely
4(141)CB Pepe Williams
6(196)RB Tyler Badie

Fav: Ojabo
Value: Jones
? no WR
Top 3 overall draft after Philly/NYJ. Great values & picks all over from Hamilton, Linderbaum, Ojabo, Jones, Armour-Davis, Badie & Kolar. Not drafting a WR after trading Hollywood Brown is my only question, why not take a speedster to replace Brown or another WR with upside.
#Browns draft
3 (68) CB Martin Emerson
3 (78) DE Alex Wright
3 (99) WR David Bell
4 (108) DT Perrion Winfrey
4 (124). LSU K Cade York
5 (156) RB Jerome Ford
6 (202) WR Michael Woods
7 (223) DE Isaiah Thomas
7 (246) C Dawson Deaton

Fav: Winfrey/Ford
Value: Winfrey
?: York in RD 4
Clev was lacking draft capital due to the D. Watson trade which gave them a franchise QB. Fav & value pick was clearly the penetrating 3tech Winfrey who I thought could go RD 2. Think Ford can become RB 2 in a year when Hunt leaves in FA. Bell could become starting possession WR
#Steelers Draft
1 (20) QB Kenny Pickett
2 (52) WR George Pickens
3 (84) DL DeMarvin Leal
4 (138) WR Calvin Austin
6 (208) FB Connor Heyward
7 (225) LB Mark Robinson
7 (241) QB Chris Oladokun

Fav: Pickens/Austin
Value: Pickens/Austin/Leal
?: Pickett over Willis/Rd 7 picks
Overall I really do like the Pitt draft as I loved Pickens & think he has talented to be best WR in class & true outside X WR. Austin in Rd 4 was great value & another explosive playmaker. Leal offers versatility on DL. I think the QB pick should have been Willis w higher upside
up next #AFCSouth
#HoustonTexans draft
1(3)CB Derek Stingley
1(15)OG Kenyon Green
2(37)S Jalen Pitre
2(44)WR John Metchie
3(75)LB Christian Harris
4(107)RB Dameon Pierce
5(150)DT Thomas Booker
5 (170)TE Teagan Quitoriano
6 (205)OT Austin Deculus

Fav: Pitre
Value: Harris
?: Green
loved Texans draft, even my biggest gripe which was taking an OG at 15 I do not have a a big issue with as he was best OL left. Love Stingley & Pitre. Harris could have went RD 2. Added 3 starters to upgrade def. Pierce can be a starting Committee RB. Metchie is long term starter
#ColtsNation draft

2 (53). WR Alec Pierce
3 (73). TE Jelani Woods
3 (77). OT Bernhard Raimann
3 (96). S Nick Cross
5 (159). DT Eric Johnson
6 (192). TE Andrew Ogletree
6 (216). DT Curtis Brooks
7 (239). S Rodney Thomas

Fav: Raimann/Cross
Value: Raimann/Cross
?: Ogletree/Thomas
Thought Indy did well without a 1st rd pick they lost to the awful C Wentz trade last year Loved the Cross & Raimann picks, both great values and possible long term starters. I preferred Skyy Moore over Piece, but Pierce should be starter next to Pittman. Woods has big upside
#Jaguars draft

1 (1) Georgia DE Travon Walker
1 (27) Utah LB Devin Lloyd
3 (65) Kentucky C Luke Fortner
3 (70) Wyoming LB Chad Muma
5 (154). Ole Miss RB Snoop Conner
6 (197). Ouachita Baptist CB Gregory Junior
7 (222). Arkansas CB Montaric Brown

Fav: Lloyd
Value: Muma
?: Forter
Loved the trade up for Lloyd who I thought was best LB in draft. Love Muma & was good value at 70 but invested a lot of resources at LB this offseason, should have pivoted elsewhere. Forter at 65 was a little early. Draft will be defined by Waker & his upside, which is massive
#Titans draft haul

1(18)WR Treylon Burks
2(35)CB Roger McCreary
3(69)OL Nicholas Petit-Frere
3(86)QB Malik Willis
4(131)RB Hassan Haskins
4(143) TE Chig Okonkwo
5(163) WR Kyle Philips
6(204) S Theo Jackson
6(219) LB Chance Campbell

Fav: Burks
Value: Willis
?: trading AJ Brown
trading AJ Brown was a mistake as you should be building around young 24 yr old stars. With that said, I loved their draft. Replaced AJ with Burks, my #2 WR who I comp to AJ, Willis (massive upside) was my QB 1 they stole at pick 86, Philips can be starting slot like H. Renfrow
#AFCWest

#Broncos draft

2(64)DE N. Bonitto
3(80)TE G. Dulcich
4(115)CB Damarri Mathis
4(116)DT Eyioma Uwazurike
5(152)S Delarrin Turner-Yell
5(162)WR Montrell Washington
5(171)C Luke Wattenberg
6(206)DL Matt Henningsen
7(232)DB Faion Hicks

Fav: Bonitto
Value: Mathis
?: RDs 5-7
Den did not have a 1st rd pick due to Russ Wilson trade, finally giving them a legit franchise QB. I liked Bonitto alot in late rd 2, an explosive edge rusher, I like Dulcich in RD 3 but w Albert O there could have went diff position. Mathis could be starting CB from RD 4.
#ChiefsKingdom draft
1(21) CB Trent McDuffie
1(30)DE George Karlaftis
2(54)WR Skyy Moore
2(62)S Bryan Cook
3(103)LB Leo Chenal
4(135) Josh Williams
5 (145)OL Darian Kinnard
7 (243)CB Jaylen Watson
7 (251)RB Isaih Pacheco
7 (259)S Nazeeh Johnson

Fav: Chenal
Value: Kinnard
?: none
Loved the Chiefs draft, top 4 overall. Loved McDuffie at 21, great value on Karlaftis at 30, Chenal is one of my fav picks in the entire draft, Moore at 54 is great value & could have big role right away, Kinnard in RD 5 could have went in RD 3, like Cook, Williams & Pacheco also
#RaiderNation draft
3 (90). Memphis OG Dylan Parham
4 (122). Georgia RB Zamir White
4 (126). LSU DT Neil Farrell
5 (175). Tennessee DT Matthew Butler
7 (238). Ohio State T/G Thayer Munford
7 (250). UCLA RB Brittain Brown

Fav: Parham, Butler
Value: Butler, Munford
?: Brown
Vegas did not have a RD 1/2 pick due to trading for D. Adams but w little draft capital they had a great draft. Parham is starting IOL, White could be starter next yr when Jacobs is gone, love the value of M Butler in rd 5, who could develop into starter, Farrell is an ideal NT
#Chargers Draft
1 (17) Boston College OL Zion Johnson
3 (79) Baylor S JT Woods
4 (123) Texas A&M RB Isaiah Spiller
5 (160 DT Otito Ogbonnia
6 (195)OG Jamaree Salyer
6 (214) Ja’Sir Taylor
7 (236)CB Deane Leonard
7 (260)FB Zander Horvath

Fav: Johnson
Value: Salyer
?: last 3 picks
really liked LAC first 5 picks. They finally will have a really good OL now after adding best guard in draft in Johnson & tremendous value in Salyer in RD 6, who could develop into a starter, like Woods in RD 3, Spiller is ideal compliment to Ekler & like Ogbonnia along DL
