It was an honor collaborating with @idek2022 @EmilyKennedy85 @ASEELApp to feed 156 families in #Kunar #Afghanistan. Thank you everyone who contributed in anyway towards this. A big thanks 🙏🙏 to all the donors for their generous and kind donations.
The Feed 150 Families in Kunar fundraising campaign provided food packages to 36 widows and 111 Ultra-Poor Families in Kunar plus six more packages were given to families in distribution site. Overall 1094 individuals were supported of which more than 60% were children.

I would like to establish a point here. Plz don’t ask anyone for sending you money directly. If you are someone who needs food bec you have lost your job or can’t find work or don’t afford food, request them to buy you a package through @ASEELApp or

It’s absolutely unethical to ask someone to send you money directly. You need food, request them to order you a package and only if you know them, have worked with them or there is a prior connection. If you received one package, stop asking for more.
I would also like to recommend to DM me (DMs open 24/7 unless I get a job). I will make sure you get food package only if you are eligible. I can’t provide cash to you (I don’t have it).

The first package from the “Child and Family Relief Fund” delivered. Heartbreaking to know that recipient has a Masters Degree in International Relations & was a PHD Candidate (ruined dream). He served for years in ANDSF & has worked in Director level. Imagine ordinary #Afghans
In total six packages were delivered to vulnerable families in Kabul. It’s family received Food Package and a child relief package. The family had a baby girl only 4 months old. She is sick and the family could either afford her medicine or their food. Tough choice, right?

My team went to Tango Camp, a village where more than 400 families live. 50 families (15 widows & 35 ultra-poor families) were identified. The team will continue identifying more families for the food drive and will be added to this #Thread

1. Save the life of a small girl!
A father of ten children (all females) is about to sell his daughter to save the family from starvation and provide medicine to his other daughter. DM me if you want to help this family. I am not talking about one food package, his need is more.
2. He is a baker and used to bake biscuits and cakes before the fall of the government. His employer (shop) had to let him go because the business wasn’t going well. Now, he can’t find work to support his family. Can we provide him tools to survive?
3. A generous donation can enable him bake & sell and feed his family. Plz DM me for details and if you would like to speak with the family, I can arrange that as well. If you wish to donate, all details about food provision and other arrangements will be provided.

Once we hit the 7K mark, my team in Kunar & I will visit Sarkano, Shigal n Shultan districts to identify vulnerable families to famine and humanitarian crisis. I do have a list of 30 families from these three districts which includes widows & families without a male caretaker.

2) Note: Tonight evening I went to a store to buy milk for my kid. I saw a little girl (prbbly 10 years old) asking the staff to give her sugar for ten Afs (0.10$). He give him very little. I asked the girl, why only sugar. She added “I gathered bread all the day, and with this Image
3) sugar, we will make tea, and have our dinner”. I asked her address, and she was afraid. I didn’t have enough money atm, but I did buy her green tea, sugar, and little beans. I couldn’t take her photo in the store as it could attract attention towards me. I couldn’t follow her
