1/ What is Open Network for Digital Commerce(ONDC)?
#ONDC is a decentralized platform that will allow buyers and sellers to connect and transact with each other online irrespective of which ecommerce portal(s) they are listed on.
2/ Why ONDC?
The open technology network aims to challenge the dominance of e-commerce behemoths like #Amazon and #Flipkart.

4/ How will it work?
Both the buyer and seller have to use the same platform or application to conduct a #business transaction.
5/ Testing
On April 29, 2022, the government launched the pilot phase of the project in five cities: Delhi-NCR, Bengaluru, Bhopal, Shillong and Coimbatore.
