1. #FOMO : Fear Of Missing Out; This is when a huge price increases occurs in a short period and investors rush to get in on the trend.
2. Bear: When the market goes on a downward trend for a long period, the market is said to be a #bearmarket .
3. Bull: When the market goes on an upward trend for a long period, the market is said to be on a bull run.
4. Altcoins (or #alts ): These are referred to as Cryptos
that aren't #Bitcoin . It is used to describe various other cryptos.
5. Dip: This is when a Crypto currency sees a decline in price. It might be a short time dip or long term dip.
6. Dump: To sell off a coin or when a Crypto price drops recently. E.g: "Terra Luna experienced a
dump".
7. Fiat: This refer to government issued money, examples are the USD and Euros.
8. HODL: Hold On to your Dear Life; this is when investors don't sell their assets no matter the situation of the market. This is the case of #Bitcoin HODLers who see it as a store of value.
9. #NFTs: An NFT(Nonfungible Token), is a digital asset that confers ownership of a virtual good, such as a piece of digital artwork or online collectible. (For example, the famous โHe Bit My Fingerโ YouTube video was auctioned as an NFT).
10. To The Moon: This is a popular
phrase used by investors who believe there assets would skyrocket in the near future.
11. Whales: These are investors with large amount of a Crypto currency. There action in the market can affect the price whether they buy or sell.

14. Aping: In the cryptocurrency scene aping or to ape refers to entering a position in a coin. It's a slang term used a lot in chats and on Twitter. It means 'What coin are you buying?'
15. FUD: Fear, Uncertainty and Doubt; when someone is has feeling of fear or uncertainty
towards a project or begins to talk on a project with no real arguments. E.g: When warnings sign were alarmed about the $UST crash, Luna investors called it FUD.
16. Rekt: When a Crypto project is completely destroyed or ruined.

8. DEX - Decentralized Exchange: Unlike Centralized Exchanges, decisions are voted for by members of the network and transactions are public for everyone to see without an intermediary.
9. PoW - Proof of Work: This is a mechanism Bitcoin uses to regulate the creation of it's blocks and the state of the blockchain.
1. DAO - Decentralised Autonomous Organisation: This is a group of people with no central authority that vote to make decisions in a smart contract. They are also known as the Decentralized Autonomous Corporation. An example is MakerDAO.
2. AMM - Automated Market Makers: An automated Maker is a Decentralized Exchange protocol used in a Liquidity Pool that relies on mathematical formulas to price assets.
From the word 'MINING', someone might think of Blockchain mining for example in terms of #Bitcoin but no it doesn't involve block mining at all.
In fact it's a much more simpler process.

Stable coins from the word "Stable" are non volatile tokens that over time have been able to maintain their 1 to 1 peg to a Fiat currency like the US dollar.
- They can be easily traded on #Decentralized exchanges.
- They are used to participate in DeFi without the volatility.
- It makes it easier to transfer Fiat across border without worrying about Foreign Exchange policies.
