Pre-dawn, MP is working remotely from the roof-top pool at the hotel, preparing for the session @IUPESMWC2022. He gets text on ‘WhatsApp’ from IM
IM: Hey doc, I see that you are checking the slides one final time. BTW, we all are looking forward to your session this morning

1/
MP: Really, how come?
IM: Since #WC2022 is hybrid, even though it is late in some parts, we are looking forward
MP: Thanks–Yes, lot of efforts went in pulling this session. Thanks to Dr Borras (@IOMP & @aapmHQ ) & Dr Tom Judd (@IFBME & @WHO ), even I am looking forward to

2/
IM: BTW doc, my cousin said, she liked your title, “Symbiotic relationship between #MedicalPhysicists and #Clinical Engineers” & so do I.
MP: Glad you liked, hopefully y’all will like what I present

@WelcomeSG
3/
IM: Doc, we all know how important for us, when Medical Physicists (#MPs) & Clinical Engineers (#CEs) work cooperatively. It is like “an engine running smoothly when the wheels are properly aligned, lubricated, etc.…”
MP: Thanks, I couldn’t have said it better.

4/
MP: Thanks – I couldn’t have said it better. Do you mind if I borrow ur statement to share during our discussion?
IM: Off course, yes doc. I see that the session alternates talk between #MPs and #CE.

5/
IM: I see that the session alternates talk between #MPs and #CE. I wish your colleague Dr Richardson (@HikesWithDogs00 ) was here. Nice perspective of MPs & CEs relationships in Radiation Oncology.

6/
MP: I wish that too, however, she will be participating in the live discussion
IM: I also see your friend from South Africa is speaking, no wonder it raises the average level of your session
MP: So, do I, we also have representative from @WHO and #UK as speakers.

7/
IM: Doc, better watch out from my uncle, he is little grumpy and will be asking tough questions

MP: Ha ha (laughs) – you are talking about your cylindrical headed uncle (C-arm w Image Intensifier). Off course he is an ‘OG’, and I will be watch out. Thanks.

Tuesday: MP passing by CT, hears a loud sigh!

MP: Hey buddy, why are you sighing!

CT: Doc, what else can I do. I am ready to go round & round our patients, however, it pains me when tech had to turn away a patient who needed me to scan w contrast for her abdominal pain

1/
MP: Are u talking about #iodinecontrast shortage that is causing all these postponements or cancelations?

CT: Yes doc, as u know some diagnoses do require Iodine contrast, so that I can highlight diseases. BTW, I wonder, why u guys have not found other contrast agents yet?

2/
MP: Well there is considerable research going on to find other contrast agents. Probably this shortage may shine some light on other possible agents.

CT: Didn’t I hear once @RSNA that ‘milk’ can serve as an oral-contrast agent?

Weekend
Beautiful weather, MP sitting in park working on talks. Notices slight movement in grass & see an ‘Eastern Box Turtle’, staring at him

Conversation between Turtle and MP

Turtle: What are you doing here in my neighborhood doc? Aren’t you supposed go to beaches?

1/
MP: Well, I am not a ‘beach kind of guy’, I am more of ‘park kind of guy’. As weather is great, I thought I would be inspired to finish my talks for the conference.

Turtle: Can I ask you a question? Are you the guy who did CT scan on my cousin from National Aquarium?

2/
3: Not directly, however, I remember being at the CT scanner when your cousin was scanned.

Turtle: He told me that they had difficulty imaging him on an old CT scanner and that is why he went to Hopkins, as you guys have the latest CT scanner, correct?

Conversation between O-arm (IM) and Medical Physicist (MP) about Indian Dish

IM: Hey Doc, now that you are back from meeting, what’s cooking?

MP: Well, I am making my favorite rice dish – Chitranna!
IM: (smurking) Doc, I didn’t mean for u to reply w what u are cooking. It's an American slang, where buddies ask, “what’s happening?”

MP: Sorry, I got carried away, since the dish is so good.

IM: What is it doc?

MP: It is called “Chitranna”

IM: English doc, English…

2/
MP: It means “Colored Rice”

IM: Let me take a look at the dish and try to decipher what’s in it.

MP: Ok, looks like you really understood projection imaging, go ahead.

IM rotates around the dish by taking multiple images
