1/ I learned an important lesson in this cycle.

Saylor & Su Zhu have demonstrated that being a whale is irrelevant. They made the same rookie mistakes as a newcomer to crypto.

Sounds like me in 2014, just that they lost billions.

2/ During this bull run, Saylor explained that #Bitcoin cannot correct more than ~50% from the all-time high because "institutions are here".

I was skeptical because history proved otherwise.

So far, #BTC has corrected over 70% & may go lower!

3/ Su Zhu, the boss of 3AC hedge fund, lost $2 bil & may go to prison. He FOMOed into the Terra scam & believed #BTC can't fall under $24k

It was obvious that Terra was bound to fail & BTC could crash to $20k in a bear market.

How did they miss this? 👇

4/ I assumed people that can spend billions buying #Bitcoin or renting $50 mil yachts will at least spend some cash on research and TA so they avoid obvious scams and don't get liquidated.

If someone is rich or appears rich does not mean they know what they are doing.

5/ This crypto cycle did bring in institutions and with them a new class of degenerates ready to FOMO their billions with no awareness that they are about to get REKT.

The human element stays the same, no matter the cash in the bank.

6/ Look at Celsius.

They lost big and they are keeping users' money hostage to save themselves.

Collapses during bear markets are common, but the scale in this cycle went to another level.

Terra really rekt many + created contagion.

7/ We do not know how many other platforms and protocols are about to flip, so best to secure your money.

The advice from @FatManTerra is worth following.

If your coins are not on a ledger, then your funds are NOT #SAFU.

🔹 When Saylor was calling this cycle "different", my gut feeling was that he was just a noob.

🔹 When Do Kwon called UST a stablecoin I was concerned for others and suspected a scam.

9/ 2️⃣ Don't underestimate the power of greed.

This cycle showed that if you promise 20% returns using a fake "stablecoin" people will hand you almost $18 billion (Anchor all-time high).

Professional scammers are all over this to copy it.

10/ 3️⃣ Follow people with experience, at least 2 to 3 crypto cycles. Plus, rich folks can also get rekt easily.

Don't follow blindly and don't trust others just because they show off their wealth. It may be on leverage!

11/ 4️⃣ #Bitcoin is the true innovation while 99% of altcoins are a cash grab!

Apart from Bitcoin and Ethereum, most altcoins bring nothing new. Worse, they bring centralization & new risks like governance.

When I started there were no stablecoins, DeFI or NFTs. These are also innovations, but they bring new risks too.

1/ This is why #Celsius froze withdrawals. 👇

They have half a bil in #WBTC at risk of liquidation if they don't add more collateral, i.e. #Bitcoin!

So they stopped withdrawals & added YOUR Bitcoin as collateral to reduce their margin call.

Now standing at $18k / BTC.

2/ They added over 2k in WBTC to reduce their margin call from 20k to 18k (see both pics).

Whales and sharks will hunt this margin call... half a billion is a juicy target.

Can they save it? Hard to say.

3/ #MicroStrategy, with their 130k BTC. 👇

They need to add collateral at $21k / BTC or they face margin calls!

Sure they may be able to do it without a sweat, but these companies are putting themselves at huge risk.

Celsius already REKT its users to save itself.

1/ I figured up Justin Sun's game with #USDD.

It's plainly obvious.

He plans to finish what Do Kwon failed to do.

Buy as much #BTC as possible now & then when it pumps, print more #USDD until the limit!

He's going long on BTC & will cash in into #USDD.

2/ They just bought 100 mil USDT worth of BTC in their reserve. They used to have 240 mil USDT before (see pics).

If Justin plays this right, he can print 10x more USDD in the future just due to BTC appreciating in price.

If he plays it wrong, he will risk USDD de-pegging. 👇
3/ Luckily, he has 7 bil in #TRX market cap to defend the USDD peg as USDD mcap is still low.

With a bit of luck, USDD won't grow too much and during the coming bull market he can cash in billions as BTC / TRX pumps.
