Another day, another thread for you. We just can't stop! This time, it's about @yagi_fi 👏
1/12 Today's #ZEND&FRIENDS AMA guest will be @p_e , Founder of Yagi Finance, a keeper network allowing web3 builders to outsource their DevOps and automate non-core protocol actions.
2/12 Why is this important?🚩Often times, developers have to custom build bots (also referred to as keepers) to automate smart contract actions. This can require a substantial amount of time and manpower, especially for smaller start-up teams.
3/12 Enter Yagi Finance, a decentralised network of bots that automates smart contracts on blockchains, and the first keeper network built on #StarkNet.
4/12 To create an automated smart contract, a task author will create a task and define when it should be called and how it should be called by keepers. After deploying the task, keepers will begin automated execution.🤖
5/12 Use cases for Yagi's keeper network include:
- automating yield harvesting in vault strategies 🌾
- cleaning up small liquidatable positions in lending protocols 🧹, and
- seting limit orders on in-game item purchases, etc ⚔️.
6/12 For more info on how to incorporate automation in gaming, check out this presentation with @matchbox_dao
7/12 Other advantages of using Yagi include: increased reliability by reducing single point of failure 🔒, and on-chain transparency of execution requirements visible to the community 🔎.
8/12 @astraly, one of the native #IDO platforms on #StarkNet recently launched their testnet and used Yagi's keeper network to trigger the distribution of IDO tokens, thus reducing the overhead for the team.
9/12 And as you may have guessed, Yagi's keeper tooling will primarily target protocols directly. But the team has also been developing another product called the Yagi Vaults which everyone can use.
10/12 What began as a vault prototype at the StarkNet Amsterdam Hackathon has grown into Yagi Vaults, featuring ERC4626 vaults that complement Yagi's keeper product.
11/12 Their first vault (XETH) featuring xBank's testnet #ETH pool was launched in mid-May.
12/12 We're excited about how Yagi will help power #DeFi3.0 and on-chain games on #L2 🦾. We will be joined by @p_e today 29/06 at 1300 UTC,1500 CEST on our Twitter Spaces. In the meantime, comment below with your questions for Peter!
1/15 We're excited to host @argentHQ on our Twitter Spaces this week. Want a primer on Argent and what they do? LFG! 🚀
2/15 Argent is a smart wallet 💰 designed for all things #DeFi and #Web3. It is a non-custodial wallet that combines easy access to dApps with security features such as multisig and social recovery, doing away with seed phrases.
1/12 Ahead of our #AMA with @astraly on Wednesday, we wanted to share an overview on how the protocol works.🔍 Astraly is a launchpad built on #StarkNet, offering users the opportunity to invest in native StarkNet projects in an open and decentralised manner.
2/12 At the core of the protocol there are three components - staking, lottery, and #IDO. You may ask, how are they connected? We’ll cover all the above, as well as the team and product timeline below.👇
3/12 As a user, in order to participate in a coveted IDO on Astraly, users must first secure lottery tickets to enter into the draw. More lottery tickets = higher chances of getting #IDO token allocation🤝.
Q2. $AAVE --> StarkNet? 🚀
- Good thing. Bring TVL to the whole ecosystem
- We focus on building community, not just users
- Work with other protocols for synergies🤝💫
