Quelle des Fotos ist mir bekannt. Aus wohl nachvollziehbaren Gründen anonymisiere ich. Ein darauf abgebildeter Ehemann hat es seiner ukrainischen Frau geschickt. Die Frau ist schwanger und mit einem Kind geflohen. In Deutschland gebar sie Kind 2. Es ist wenige Tage alt. 1/x

Der Familie ging in der Ukraine gut. Der Ehemann ist gelernter Handwerker. Sie lebten in einer Großstadt mit eigenem Haus. Sie hat die stehen gebliebenen Trümmer davon schon in den Nachrichten gesehen. Das Foto zeigt eine Gruppe von Zivilisten in jetzt voller Kampfmontur. 2/x

Mehr Ausrüstung werden sie nicht bekommen. Montag beginnt für Sie ein einwöchiges Kampftraining. Dann werden Sie als Territorialverteidiger um #Cherson kämpfen. Die Ukrainerin wird morgen mit den beiden Kindern ins Trainingscamp fahren. Ihr Mann sagt, sie solle das lassen. 3/x

Es wäre viel zu gefährlich. Sie solle in Sicherheit bleiben und die beiden Kinder großziehen. Sie sagt: "Ich will, dass du dein Kind und dein Kind dich wenigstens einmal im Leben gesehen hat, bevor du stirbst." Sie benutzt nicht "falls". Sie gehen davon aus, dass es das 4/x

letzte mal in ihrem Leben sein wird, dass sie sich sehen. Der Ehemann hat eingewilligt und ihr den Ort mitgeteilt.

Sie wird ihm einen alten Bundeswehrrucksack mitbringen, gefüllt mit Dingen, die ihm vielleicht nützlich sein könnten (nicht von mir). Er freut sich darüber. 5/x

I know the source of the photo. For understandable reasons, I anonymize. A husband pictured on it sent it to his Ukrainian wife. The woman was pregnant and fled with a child. In Germany child 2 was born in safety. It is only a few days old. 1/x

The family did well in Ukraine. The husband is a skilled craftsman. They lived in a city in their own house. She has already seen the remains of it on the news. The photo shows a group of civilians, now in available full riot gear. 2/x

They will not get any more equipment. Monday begins a week-long combat training for them. Then they will fight for #Kherson as a territorial defender. The Ukrainian will take her two children to the training camp tomorrow. Her husband says she should stop. 3/x

It would be far too dangerous. She should stay safe and raise the two children. She says: "I want you to see your child and your child to see you at least once in your life before you die." She doesn't use "if". They assume it will be the last time 4/x

in their lives that they will see each other. The husband agreed and told her the location.

She will bring him an old armed forces backpack filled with things that might be useful to him (not mine). He is happy about it. 5/x

Militär-Craskkurs befindet. Unverändert soll und will (weil hier manche von "geschickt werden" im Sinne von Zwang schreiben) er ab nächste Woche um sein Land und #Cherson kämpfen. #SlavaUkraini Täglich schlagen schon jetzt Raketen in seiner Nähe ein. 2/n
