🇷🇺 We have received reports that a Russian SA-23 SAM System shot down its own Russian Su-35 aircraft.

This FRIENDLY FIRE event occurred in the Kherson region on May 27 2022.

We believe the missile was fired from a known Russian SA-23 SAM System located at:

46.574, 32.742

FIRMS data shows flashes occurring at the Russian SAM location and to the north where we believe the Russian Su-35 to have been downed:

47.190, 33.123

Our information indicates that the Russian Su-35 went radio silent shortly after the SA-23 launched its missile which detonated to the south of Shyroke.
