The possible pontoon loading area (46.631 32.756) near #Oleshky #Kherson (spotted by @DefMon3 & @OAlexanderDK) was empty during a satellite pass on Thursday. However, one small craft was captured moving up the #Konka river at 46.6378 32.7684. It's a busy place. Read on... 1/
Looking along the #Konka for the past week, I think there was another pontoon hidden to the east of the launch point in the marsh on 2022-08-02 at 46.6362 32.7709. It's SPOT imagery, so it's not super sharp, but it looks like a pontoon measuring about 60x12m and small boat. 2/
Here are three views of the same area of the marsh. It's pretty clear that something was there on Aug 2nd, but not Aug 4th or July 27th. Might be another area to watch to see if pontoons are stored here regularly. 3/
Looking back, we can also find Russian military vehicles in various locations over the past week. Here's an overview of where they've been seen near #Oleshky. I think they're stationed near the base of the bridge, and in the industrial area east of the pontoon launch point. 4/
Just south of the #antonovskybridge, around 46.6341 32.7244, the Russians have a camp, with a visible tent, vehicles, and fighting positions. They likely occupy the buildings as well. 5/
700m east of the pontoon launch point we see a large vehicle - possibly a truck carrying a pontoon - approaching a warehouse at 46.6340 32.7667. Possible storage? 6/
Other vehicles recently seen about 700-1000m east of the pontoon launch point. 7/
@DefMon3 @OAlexanderDK Looks like @Satellogic had an image 3 minutes earlier and helped me find where the boat launched from (46.6327, 32.7580). It came from right next to the pontoon launch point.

Looks like the Russians finished creating a barge bridge over the #Dnipro near #Kherson in the past 24 hours. Imagery from Oct 18 show a barge pushing the last parts into place at 0814 UTC. This allows Russia to resupply faster or to evacuate quickly. It's also an easy target.🤔 Satellite overview of Antonovsky bridge near Kherson, UkrainClose up satellite view of the south side of Antonovsky brid
@GeoConfirmed Barge bridge complete at #Kherson on 18 October. Last barge being placed at 46.6658 32.7206.
And on the 17th there was more activity of Russian military vehicles waiting while others crossed by ferry. Same waiting location in a field around 46.7 32.8, just north of Prydniprovs'ke, east of #Kherson. Lots of trucks headed away from Kherson.

Since Aug, 70km of a natural gas pipeline was laid between #Melitopol and Marynivka, #Zaporizhia Oblast, #Ukraine. This will likely connect to #Berdyansk. Melitopol has been without gas for months. The connection could be complete within the next few weeks. @GeoConfirmed
A KML version of the pipeline trace can be downloaded here for import into your favorite mapping tools. This was created based on satellite imagery from August and September 2022. drive.proton.me/urls/TES5W9RE8…

The occupation government in #Luhansk, #Ukraine is pushing people to a telegram channel to get info about the referendum. Good #OSINT feed? t.me/budem_zhit 🤔
Apparently the LPR occupation authorities need to take a break while counting the ballots...
"The Department of the People's Militia of the Luhansk People's Republic reports that during the period of the referendum, the departments of the military commissariat will not work."

Situation around #antonovskiybridge in #Kherson hasn't changed. Sep 15 images show the ferries in use nearby, and empty barges. But... 🧵 1/
Looking back at radar and optical imagery since Sep 6 we can see many boats, some confirmed as pontoon ferries, operating east of the rail bridge near #Kherson. Here's a map with the locations plotted on different dates. Where does the ferry land? 🤔2/
