Raksha Bandhan:

Shravan Purnima is on August 11, Thursday.
Bhadra too is on August 11 (Thursday) which is considered inauspicious.
#rakshabandhan2022 #RakshaBandan
As per religious beliefs, auspicious work is not done in Bhadra Kaal. This is the reason that even Rakhi is not tied in Bhadrakal.

Here's the correct date and time for Raksha Bandhan 2022.

Raksha Bandhan 2022: Date, time and shubh muhurat

Significance of Raksha Bandhan

Raksha Bandhan comes from Sanskrit “Rakshabandhanam”. Raksha means “To protect” & bandhanam is Bond. Raksha Bandhan - Bond of Protection; widely celebrated in North & West India, falls on full moon day of Shravan
#rakshabandhan2022 #RakshaBandan
#RakshaBandan is celebrated during the day as per Mahurat declared by Pundits. Girls tie a thread on wrist of their brothers, praying for their good health & long life. Brothers give them a gift, thus promising them to protect them in adverse situations.
#rakshabandhan2022
In Hinduism, people believe that everyone has a destiny to fulfill and it is based upon one's good & bad karma. Punya karmas mean happiness & prosperity, paap karmas yield sufferings, miseries, diseases and even death.
#rakshabandhan2022 #RakshaBandan
During this, even tying a rakhi doesn't change the reality & a sister can't get any help from brother. What of girls who don't have a brother? Viewed thus, those girls can never expect protection from anyone.
#rakshabandhan2022 #RakshaBandan
Imagine the heartache those girls must be feeling when they see other girls tying rakhi to their brothers.

When a girl ties a rakhi on her brother’s wrist she expects him to help her during adverse circumstances.
#rakshabandhan2022 #RakshaBandan
ONLY GOD CAN PROTECT US...
A saint said that if you really want to tie a rakhi to someone, tie it to Supreme God who alone can worldly & spiritual problems. He is the rescuer of all, the one who can be looked upon for help during sufferings.
#rakshabandhan2022 #RakshaBandan
It not only causes pain to those who can't celebrate it; also leads to unnecessary expenses undertaken by people to fulfill traditions. No one in this world, is capable of protecting themselves, then how can they be expected to protect others?
#rakshabandhan2022 #RakshaBandan
If you really want protection, take shelter of supreme almighty as only he is capable to doing anything and everything. There is no word like “IMPOSSIBLE” in his dictionary.

What is Shukra Niti and what to do on a Friday?

Shukracharya: A great knowledgeable person who was respected even by Devas and Saints. He was an expert in Political Science. He founded the Shukra Niti. In his niti he has laid down the following points:
#SanatanaDharma #hinduism https://t.co/syF74bOq87twitter.com/i/web/status/1…

One should never reveal certain things in front of others.

It’s great if you are loved and respected by all, but don’t show it off in front of others- doing so will lower your respect in the eyes of others
#SanatanaDharma #hinduism https://t.co/2pRf0avyqJtwitter.com/i/web/status/1…
If you have to face insult at any point in your life, it’s best to keep it to yourself; telling that to everyone you know will make you feel insulted in front of others as well.

Tantra is an abstract religion, it doesn't have a clear definition. Different seekers define it differently, many not even consistent with each other. Tantra, though, is clearly recognized as being very different from the ancient Hindu Vedic tradition.
#SanatanaDharma #Hinduism twitter.com/i/web/status/1… Image
Before trying to delve into tantrism, it is important to understand that this is not a single coherent system. It is rather a tradition that gradually evolved from an accumulation of practices and rituals, in order to attain the grace of the divine.
#SanatanaDharma #Hinduism twitter.com/i/web/status/1… Image
The practitioner of tantra uses his own prana or divine energy in order to harness it to the universal prana, thereby attaining his goal. The goal in question could be either spiritual, material or both.

Tantra in Hinduism could be considered to be parallel to the Hindu Vedic tradition. Tantra contains written records of the Agama, which comes in four main parts, as follows:
#SanatanaDharma #Hinduism twitter.com/i/web/status/1… Image
Jnana or metaphysical knowledge
Yoga or meditative practices
Kriya or ritual practices
Charya or ethical and religious principles of conduct

Most of the staunch Hindu Vedic practitioners, however, consider the Tantras to be anti-Vedic in character and hence, altogether shun both the cult and the practitioners of the same.

Correspondence between Macrocosm and Microcosm
#spirituality #Cosmos twitter.com/i/web/status/1… Image
The universe consists of a Mahabrahmanda, or grand Cosmos, and of numerous Brihatbrahmanda, or macrocosms evolved from it. As is said by the Nirvana Tantra, all which is in the first is in the second.
#spirituality #Cosmos twitter.com/i/web/status/1… Image
In the latter are heavenly bodies and beings, which are microcosms reflecting on a minor scale the greater worlds which evolve them. "As above, so below." This mystical maxim of the West is stated in the Vishvasara Tantra as follows:
