Type 1: The Criminal Element
There is a criminal element operating in #Swat for many years since the #TTP was defeated in 2009. This element follows the same physical attributes of the TTP, but are involved in kidnappings & murders.

Type 2: The Original #TTP Swat
When the TTP was an occupying force in #Swat from 2007-09, they were brutal in their punishments & torture, to the extent that the TTP Swat chapter was expelled from the overall structure.

I can assure you that many elements that supported, funded & armed this faction are still walking free in Swat. Many have also provided safe haven to those who have returned from #Afghanistan.
This #TTP has formed an alliance with #ISKP. This is key.
ISKP gives the TTP open access to bomb makers who have trained in #Iraq & #Syria. This has also opened a door for training of fighters at a higher caliber.

Type 3: The Sponsored #TTP
The sponsored TTP are who are funded and supported by foreign intelligence, like #CIA, #Mossad, #RAW, #MI6, and more.
Their goal is very specific - to bring massive disruption to #Pakistan to create grounds to invade.

Thus far, the #TTP have issued a statement stating they are staying in the mountains and have no reason to bother anyone - as long as no operations are attempted against them.
How serious is the threat?
One week ago, the army came to our local mosque & warned people not to go out after dark, not to pick anything up from the road & keep an eye out for anyone who isn’t from this area. People were also told not to feed anyone who they don’t know.

Since then, there has not been a single night where there has not been a joint operation in the mountains around my home.
I get reports from around the area that similar operations are on going.
With 3 different #TTP’s, the threat is real.
