#Polygon is now on #Seaport!

In June, OpenSea introduced Seaport — a brand new, open-source, #Web3 marketplace protocol for safely & efficiently buying & selling NFTs. Launched first on Ethereum, Seaport has helped create a more feature-rich experience at a lower cost.
After several months observing Seaport and collecting valuable feedback about it from our community, #Polygon has officially moved over to Seaport.

Previously, #Polygon on OpenSea was powered by the 0x protocol. This move to Seaport provides a more stable buying and selling experience that matches other chains. Plus, it comes with some cool new features 👇
No purchase thresholds: Users can list and buy Polygon NFTs at any price, Seaport has eliminated the $5 minimum. There will now be a $1 minimum on offers to help prevent low intent offers.

Native token support: Buyers and sellers will be able to list and transact in $MATIC.
Collection offers: Collections with under 100k items will have offers available on every item in the collection.

Attribute offers: Offers for all items in a collection that match the attribute will be available if enabled by the creator.
Multiple creator fees: Creators can specify multiple payout addresses which will be paid out in real-time, up to max. four creators.

English and Dutch auctions: Sellers will be able to run English (ascending bid) auctions and Dutch (descending bid) auctions.
List as bundles: Sellers can list Polygon NFTs as bundles that can be purchased together.

Purchase for another wallet: Buyers can purchase for another wallet - e.g. a gift for a friend or for hardware or multisig wallet.
Due to this shift, OpenSea now supports the use of $MATIC, Polygon's native token, as a payment option. Anyone transacting #onPolygon will now be required to pay for their own gas fees for transacting on OpenSea using $MATIC.
$MATIC is also available for purchase using MoonPay or on any exchange where $MATIC is offered.
This is one of the most exciting news for artists, collectors and the Polygon community at large. Learn more about Seaport here:

.@FireblocksHQ, award-winning crypto custody technology and digital asset provider, and @TokenySolutions, the leading tokenization solution provider, announced their partnership to provide an enterprise-grade solution for tokenization using the #ERC3643 #onPolygon.🤝

Institutions seeking to mint and manage permissioned tokens such as digital securities, stablecoins, and loyalty tokens can rely on Fireblocks and Tokeny as technology shields to ensure compliance, security, and control without any technical barriers.

#Polygon believes that security such as private equity, funds, debts and real estates should be easily accessible and hassle-free for faster adoption. However, capital markets are characterized by fragmented and isolated networks with little interoperability.

1/ You need smart contract automation if you want your #DeFi dApp to be scalable.

As the recommended automation solution on #Polygon, developers can leverage @Chainlink Keepers to save time and introduce advanced utility to #DeFi dApps.

A 🧵 on how Keepers work👇
2/ Smart contracts cannot trigger themselves, and centralized and manual automation solutions introduce a single point of failure, exposing smart contracts to security and reliability issues.
3/ That’s why many #DeFi protocols are outsourcing smart contract automation to decentralized solutions.

#Chainlink Keepers are decentralized automation bots powered by a time-tested network of professional node operators.

We are proud to announce a giant leap forward for Ethereum scaling and ZK innovation.

Introducing Polygon #zkEVM, the first EVM-equivalent ZK L2.

Today we’re releasing a complete implementation, fully open-source, and we’re just getting started.

[1/6]
We all know that Ethereum needs to scale, but won’t that mean sacrificing security and decentralization?

Not with Polygon #zkEVM. It inherits the security of Ethereum while increasing throughput and radically reducing fees.

The best part? It’s fully EVM-equivalent.

[2/6]
EVM-equivalence means that any smart contract or dev tool that you can use on Ethereum can be used on Polygon #zkEVM. Period.

It’s just like using Ethereum, but with the groundbreaking scaling power of ZK tech.
